So, this Hawkmoon problem...
Is it ever going to get fixed? Because at the moment it's range is terrible, hit detection is way off, accuracy and handling is poor at best and it fires blanks. They took a perfectly good and balanced gun (all they needed to fix was the one shot glitch and a very TINY adjustment to range and that was it) and made it worse than garbage.

Hawkmoon problem? There is no Hawkmoon problem. I never get killed by this gun ever. Problem solved. I remember when alot of people ran with Hawkmoon. Used to be a wicked gun. It's like if it's good gun they nerf it to the point of no one using it ever. Might as well remove it from the game.

6 RepliesI find it absolutely unbelievable that Bungle would take player skill out of the equation when it comes to ADS-ing with HC's. I'm sorry, but if my aim is true, then my shot should land no matter how fast I squeeze the trigger. This should never be an RNG scenario. The simple fact that Bungle decided to inject RNG into the equation, shows just how clueless they are when it comes to weapon balancing. Top that off with the how bad the ammo situation is with HC's and well you end up with guns that no one will use anymore. Bungle continuously make changes to weapons in order to "balance" weapon type usage within the game. Well, congratulations Bungie...You managed to basically take the Hand cannons completely out of that equation and now no one uses them. Well done. You now have an entire class of weapons that is utterly unusable.

It's pretty sad. I used my hawkmoon as infusion fuel. I never would have considered that last year ever in my life. Ever. The legendary hawkmoon. Now just a pile of scraps in my inventory.

I don't recall many ppl asking for a Hawkmoon nerf in the 1st place. Why they nerfed it is beyond me. RIP my favorite gun in the game. I miss you.

I am having the same issue. I am doing the quest to have 6+ hand cannon kills and having a difficult time with Hawkmoon equipped due to lack of shots registering. After switching to Eyasluna every bullet registers, no issue killing targets.

4 Repliesok the hawkmoon is just fine.. actually IMO it needs a Range nerf as well as a few of the exotic HAND CANNONS.... I have been sniped from across the map by all of the exotic hand cannons

I don't see the problem with it, I just got it and it's been outperforming most weapons. It has decent range and can take down multiple players with one clip. It's actually my favorite exotic at the moment, each kill you get feels satisfying especially when the holding aces perk goes off.

Just get a eyasluna with hammer forge and a damage increase perk and profit. Mine has reactive reload.
