Yes still got full weapons and also armor for each character.
A more fun way to do VOG and Crota is that you must equip any weapons or armor that drop during the raid. The winner is the person with the lowest light level at the end of the raid.

Trust it is great fun. I am always happy to help players get their first chatterwhite etc but like to make it a little more interesting.

I still cringe when I hear chatterwhite. In y1 I was so excited to finally get chatterwhite.... by the 50th time I was over it.
