So many players are max light or at least fast approaching it. We're talking the 317-319 range. People need more incentive to actually play than just new content, especially with this games archetype. I think it's fair to say we'll be getting a Year 1 content update. Sure, it would be fun to run through VoG and CE again at 310+, but for the aforementioned reason it's going to get old pretty fast without any real objective. I still enjoy running KF but the main reason I do it is the loot. That's my incentive. If you think about it, having 3 raids to do a week means that players could effectively reach 320 light 3x faster. This new update is intended to keep us busy until the next expansion drops. Busting off the light level cap is the best way to do that.
