When they added a 2nd page it was great, but now here I am again needing to put 30 mins into moving all my guns around every time I want to switch characters.
I have the exotics, the raid weapons, the iron banner weapons, and a few legendarys that I really liked from year 1 and that leaves me only a few spaces to use.
I don't want to delete guns that are now impossible to get, or my year 2 weapons that I don't use all the time. The blueprints are good but who would want to spend spend 175 marks for an empty one at 280? shits takes a long time to max out.
Can something be done about this, possibly with this new update coming soon?
tl;dr : nerf mida
edit:
Got a few recommendations for apps, I'll check them out, although something in-game would be so much better.
3 vaults at the tower, how about assign one to each character?
It's Valentine's Day, get of the Destiny app and onto your girlfriend.
Or keep the conversation going, do whatever you want.
edit:
Just went through all the responses, kinda forgot I posted this.
I downloaded the ishtar app, it's pretty awesome, a lot easier to move things around, but it doesn't add any actual space to the vault.
The kiosks are cool and I know if you already have the gear it only costs a shard and glimmer. But you get it blank at 280, and it's only exotics, better than nothing but not really a great solution.
A huge part of this game is gambling for gear, if I want to collect and hold on to unique endgame ones there should be enough room for me to keep them. If you don't have this problem because you delete it all that's fine, but that not everyone wants to do that. Plus who knows if they're gonna pull an etheric light deal again.
Last edit:
To everyone saying don't hoard; you're very clever.
Really, It's more OCD than hoarding.

1 ReplyYou must be fun at parties.

Do you even use all those weapons? We might need to consult a professional about this.

There is a permanent solution. Don't keep crap.
-
Have less shit. Problem solved.

2 RepliesAs someone who had this issue year 1, I don't think it is an issue year 2. Seriously. I'm at a point where I am getting quite discerning about what gear I keep - armour, I pretty much only keep helmets and class items because they had a tendency to be rarer. So I have kept every raid and trials and IB helmet I have ever had. Plus some other cool looking ones. I have a collection of my favourite Y1 weapons - which is about 3 rows deep - and 90% unused (VoG weapons are still the best in the VoG - no 320 weapon kills oracles like a VoG weapon) So far it has seemed to be relatively simple to keep 1.5 rows on each vault section free at all times, minimum. Ok, so I don't have trials gear too, and I don't keep duplicates, but all it requires is a little discipline to keep this shit straight.

2 RepliesThere is zero reason to keep all of the exotics in your vault. I highly doubt you use even half of them. Step 1: delete all of the exotics you don't use. If you ever decide you want them, they'll be waiting in the kiosk.
-
Delete all year 1. Simple as that. Already stated " let it go "
-
The solution is to stop catering for the ps3/360 peasants.
-
Christ people, delete stuff move on! Everything in the game can't be "your favorite." Are you REALLY gunna pull out that "the devil you know?" Spoiler: You aren't.
-
The fact that the game is designed to give rare rewards but then make you delete them for the next set of rewards - especially with these part time special events - is in conflict with itself. Why we need is some kind of "offline storage" possibly only accessible via app/website where we can have basically umlimited storage for all the carrots we've managed to catch. If we want any of those carrots, we just have to go move them from offline storage Into the standard vault.

I'm with you man. I saved a lot of old stuff I liked. I don't know why there has to be a limit to vault space. I mean who cares how much shit we save. What does it matter in the end??
-
I need more space.....

Make your ship a vault space. There should an option for that. you can keep hoarded junk in the vault and make your weapon load out. A total of maybe 5 or 6 load out options on your ship. while your in orbit there would a option button that would say "ship load out" maybe the "X" for xbox. duh. and square for pS4 and numbered options would scroll up or down revealing your weapon set ups. And pick your option number. Then it would reload your orbit screen with the new load out. Instead of going one by one to get weapons from the vault and other characters. I know there is a app for google chrome but I don't have that. I don't trust apps in fear of losing a weapon in mid loading.

I wish they would give us a raid gear collection like the exotics. But with how random their stats are, it probably wouldn't work. Maybe just create a raid gear only storage space?
-
Don't save even the best weapons if they have bad perks. I've dismantled a number of hems simply because they weren't good enough to keep around. With as many weapons as there are now, its almost impossible to keep them all. Just keep your beasts and let everything else go. You'll get better drops sooner or later believe me.
-
Please more vault space... how bad can it be to add 1 more fking tab..
-
Sounds like you'll be going on an episode of Hoarders: Buried Alive.
-
Drop last gen to remove constraint limitations.
-
Dont horde
-
Just delete the year one stuff, sorry but that stuff is vastly superior in terms of stats got his years gun so it won't be brought up. But I have too much armour, but the issue would be solved in an instant if their was a class item kiosk
-
Overlap guns. If i have 2 or more guns of the same except with different perks overlap them and when i klick on them fan them out. Another page to up the total to 100+ guns would be nice as well.

Im with ya 100%, not sure why people are taking shots at ya. Exotics at the kiosk are 280 anyway. Im stuck as well. One person mentioned this and it helps: ishtar academy app and loadouts

1 ReplyIt seems that you've misunderstood how the blueprints work. You only have to spend marks on exotics that have not yet dropped in Year 2 for you. If it is a weapon that you currently own, the blueprint will be purchasable for one exotic shard and around 2500 glimmer. This applies for both Year 1 exotics and Year 2 exotics, and the blueprints are almost completely separate. If you have a year 1 exotic, you can buy a year 2 version for marks. But if that year 2 exotic has dropped for you, it's just a shard and glimmer.

Edited by bren12310: 2/15/2016 2:45:45 PMI used to keep all my year 1 exotics but I just recently started to delete them I had like 0 space at all in my vault

Get Loadouts for Destiny. I never use the Bungie app to transfer gear. This app is great, I've used Ishtar Commander and I can tell you that Loadouts is best. They both let you save loadouts so that's good but one key difference is when you want to transfer several items that aren't necessarily in a saved loadout IC makes you select and transfer each piece of gear one by one, whereas loadouts allows you to select various pieces and transfer them all at once.
