Trial mode...done everything u said even called Microsoft. ..still won't play game I paid for fix or refund?!?!

This my second post I been out couple weeks now I had a mentor or whatever tell me to reinstall repudiate re cache etc... done them all 10 times each it's still locked in trial mode. Is this a way to con me into buying the legendary bundlenforn59 99 since u already got 60 out of me. I play daily and need some kind of response I have a game I paid for I can't play only reason I play is destiny right now and waiting till destiny 2. I know one person doesn't mean crap to u guys but If I pay for a product I should get what I paid for.i enjoy the game but there is no real customer service no live chat all I can. Do is send these post and hope someone does something but it's too easy just to trick someone off and just leave them with the problem and no solution

  • Hello JoylessNewt236, I see you said you have the disc version of Destiny The Taken King now. What you need to do is [b]delete all Destiny items[/b] from your HDD. On the Xbox One when on the dashboard highlight Destiny and press the Menu button aka Start button and click Manage game, from there delete all. On the Xbox 360 got to setting then system storage all devices and find Destiny delete everything. Then clear your cache. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539 Now put the disc in your system and install it from the disc let it download all updates and then install your licenses. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181 Now after you do that you might need to make a second Guardian and bring him above level 9 before your old Guardian will work, some one I know had that issue not certain why.

  • Did you buy a digital version of the game, or are you using a disc? I didn't see a reply to Kellog's question about which bundle of the game you have. If you bought a digital version of the base game, and you are playing Destiny with the same gamertag account you made the purchase with, I would suggest contacting Microsoft/xbox support. That sounds like a licensing issue. Microsoft is the retailer for all digital purchases, and they manage gamertag accounts and their purchase history. Ask them to verify your purchase of Destiny is attached to your account, and then what you need to download to your console to license your purchase. If you purchased a digital version of the game with a different gamertag account, try starting Destiny with that other account and see if you still get prompted about being in trial mode. If you have a disc for the base game, check the disc for any physical issues like scratches or cracks. The physical disc is the license for the base game, and if the console has trouble reading/detecting the disc, it may be putting you in trial mode instead.
