Here is 1 reason why some people don't like it. However, I still stand by my initial "Dafuq it's free stuff. What's not to love?" Opinion

1. Create event where winners are awarded loot.
2. Eff up your drop rate (like this hasn't happened 10x before) so nobody is rewarded their loot.
3. Say eff it and just give free loot to everyone, thus negating the entire point of trying to win.

I'm happy about the 320 ghost. I haven't gotten one of the ghosts to drop for me and I can't get a ghost above 315 to drop for me from the raid.

IMO the reaction to the guaranteed ghosts has been overwhelmingly positive. There will always be dissenters, always.

Okay, here's a free event that can drop 320 ghosts "Bungie, the event sucks because most of us haven't had a 320 ghost drop in the first couple of games!" Fine, if you did the quest you will get a guaranteed 320 ghost at the end of the event "Bungie, why can't you do anything right? You made it too easy again! Now everyone will be 320! And it was a pvp event, we should only be able to get 320 gear from beating predictable AI opponents!" Player logic

I got a a 318 drop and I was stoked. My next highest is a 314 I think. Now I'll put the 320 on my lowest character. Bungie, damned if you do, damned if you don't. I say good job keeping up with all the negative feedback and sh!t thrown in your face everyday. I'm super hopeful about the 10 year plan. Not because I'm a "fan boy" or whatever you pu55ies like to call people. I'm actually a man who enjoys the game. Of course there need to be continued tweaks, but that's the case with any game. It's also been said 1000's of times, but it's pretty fu¢kin' simple: If you like it, play. If you don't, get the fu¢k outta here so the rest of us can enjoy it. But then the keyboard warriors come out talking all tough, knowing damn well they couldn't even look me in the eyes while struggling through their pathetic excuse as to why the game is "SO" bad. Pffft...sad, pathetic, punks!

Well no some people would complain that they wanted their $100 in all $1dollar bills. So, no matter what bungie does they won't please everyone. And that's fine it's just that those who thank them and say they did something right don't have a big enough voice. Those that complain, scream across the forums.

It's a nice gesture they're doing for the terrible drop rates and for the RNG in general (for once) The only reason people are now pissed Is because a lot of people have started to leave due to little content so people think they're doing it to bring people back. (Even though the gear you have now will be obsolete with that new update) That's the way I look at it.

I think it is awesome Bungle is giving away 320 ghosts, as many couldn't get quality fireteams to run with to get one from the hard challenges or IB. It gives many the chance to catch up with the higher light level players. Besides 320's won't be worth their weight anymore once they raise the light level. Rinse and repeat when Destiny 2 comes out.

6 RepliesWell when RNG for bungie means "Random Nothing Generator" im not going to be happy about getting a ghost that should've dropped during the event. I played a lot of matches and got Nothing. My friend has played over 160 matches a still no ghost. Another friend played about 40 matches and received 7 ghosts. So yea, why should i be grateful for something that should've dropped during the event?
