To those who believe Halo is now garbage
It's called modernization people.
We can't be stuck in the past, and halo's an old game. It's shedding it's skin. It's growing into something awesome. If you still are hell-bent on having a Reach repeat, then you obviously aren't grown up enough to accept change.

3 RepliesWell pay to win is usually not the greatest. I would actually play my copy of halo 5 a lot (and I mean a lot) if it didn't have that. And halo 4 was one of the greatest games I ever played.

Thing is some changes aren't necessarily good. The move away from local co-op, a feature that has existed in every halo till now, was a terrible idea in my opinion. In an industry with less and less lan type co-op, halo was a game you could have fun with all your friends when hanging out together. 343 eliminated that uniqueness. Aside from that the campaign of halo 5 was the most underwhelming of the series. For all their advertising of hunting down the MC and this epic showdown between Spartans all we got was a 30 second boxing match. Not to mention the reason for labeling MC as AWOL seemed really forced. We don't get this character dynamic from Locke at all. He just seems like a soldier following orders and that's it. He's too run-of-the-mill. The cliff hanger ending is also awkward as we are left with too many questions. Halo 2 at least left us with a definitive direction of its ending we would finish the fight. Here I don't understand what cortana is doing, why the Infinity is important, or what the MC is going to do.

But they were the best. I'm not gonna play them because I'm burnt out on them but it was simple and fun. Reaches multiplayer was the best from just all the forge levels and games that were made by the people. It was almost never boring.

12 RepliesPeople are entitled to their own opinions, we sure as hell don't need you crying about the ones who don't like halo anymore. Most of the older generation of gamers grew to enjoy the game play styles of MW1-2 also Halo 2-3. Gaming industries make changes that most don't like, but it's the scrubs like you, who jerk them off, are the reason why games are so terrible these days. Stay scrubbing.

Halo 5 IS garbage though, at least campaign wise. MP isn't bad though. Still prefer 3 though.
