I'm not exactly sure why Ice Breaker is not a year 2 weapon, but i'm going to assume it has to do with the unlimited ammo/ammo regeneration. I think Ice Breaker is one of Destiny's most unique weapons and deserves a spot in year 2. This is how that may be able to be done. Special ammo synthesis. In year 2, in order for the Ice Breaker to regenerate ammo, a special ammo synthesis must me activated in order for it to regenerate ammo. As soon as the 5 minute count down on the synthesis runs out, your Ice Breaker will stop regenerating ammo, but as soon as you use another special ammo synthesis, it will start to regenerate ammo again. I think that this would be a good way to bring back the Ice Breaker. It makes it so that players must invest in special ammo synthesis to use their Ice Breaker. Without the special ammo synthesis it cannot regenerate ammo. I really hope to see Ice Breaker return to the PVE aspect of Destiny, it is a very worthy weapon.
