So I've read from several websites, and apparently the drop rate of a ghost for doubles is 3.8% and the drop rate for a 320 ghost is 0.18 % which is about 1 in 500 games, that's ridiculous !!! Something needs to be done with these terrible drop rates, people would rather kill their characters in the doubles match then play a legit game to farm the ghost, that's just sad IMO.....

While I did read this as... "Get in the Eva Shinji!" I agree... Drop rates suuuuuuuuuuuck...
-
Hahaa. Succumb to our grind for log on numbers to show investors that people actually play Destiny. Your hard work hasn't paid off, but no matter. 7 games nets you the ghost that everyone has been trying to get for countless game hours!
-
3.8? Don't you mean 0.38?
-
I think it's rng because I got 4 ghosts and the 2 shaders in one day of playing doubles.
-
Your wish came true a 320 ghost will be given to everyone at the end of the event.... Now quit your whining
-
I've been summoned.
-
They just announced that they are giving all players who complete 7 matches of CD a free 320 ghost shell as a apology for messing up the drop rates
-
It feels like you have more of a chance to breed a shiny Pokemon with 5ivs than to get a decent drop from the Crucible.
-
Played for 3 days and no ghost my buddy get's 9 ghost in 2 days he got 320 all the rest are 315 and above
-
It feels like they upped the drop rate in raids, I got a 320 ghost, chest and launcher and a 317 machine gun from my first run in a long time
-
I completed all the bounties on two characters and completed a few on my third and saw not a single ghost.... This whole 320 ghost thing is such bull. Seriously makes me think about finding a new game to invest my time in...
-
Adding light level added an additional rng component. That is why drops have been so shitty since TtK. I don't think bungie understands / cares that we would rather get 7 320 ghost shells instead of never getting 1. That 3rd rng component of light level broke the game. Drops were perfect during HoW.
-
Although I got ALL the rewards the first day, I didn't know the drop rate was that bad. It's good news I think that people will get the ghosts easier.
-
Message received. Gotta say, I'm liking this new-look Bungie.
-
Everyone is getting a 320 ghost at the end of the event
-
RNG at its finest.

Edited by SilentFight2411: 2/13/2016 1:18:47 AMRead the latest news article posted today. If you completed 7 matches with no suicides you're guaranteed a 320 ghost. We'll be getting them from the postmaster on the 23rd. The only thing I'm unclear on is if we get one for each character that completed the 7 matches or if we get only one per account.

Yeah, the drop rates have me pretty upset.
-
by asking for this they will put aside content and say they fixed the loot for the 50th time.

You want a ghost shell you say? DeeJ: "Hey Paul, these -blam!-ers want ghost shells" Paul: "Say word? Well let's extend crimson doubles a week, lower drop rates and put together a book. We'll call it 'The Book of Love'. Tell them they can complete quests that unlock all available items in the crimson double event. Let's make it, say 1000 silver?" Deej: "Derr yesh derrr!"
-
In my opinion Crimson Days has/is a total waste of your gaming time,. In a loot based game playing new events like Crimson Days can be great FUN....Here's the catch PROVIDED the time investment yields rewards. When the rewards are lacking or underwhelming it takes away from the experience of playing the event. It makes the event feel like a total waste of time. Crimson Days is/was a waste of time. Sorry but after playing 13 games at 316-317 light, finishing all bounties and cashing them all in together. I only received a 295 Brave Shell and an emote. Did not see any high light legendary items nor any ghosts drop as post match rewards during this time. You never get a second chance to make a good first impression. I'm done with Crimson Days.

Suicide squad yes please gonna do it all weekend FU Bungie

Increase all the drop rates Let's just take a ghost for example We all have our ideal Intellect, Discipline, Strength preferences. People also may have a preferred farm material and or glimmer kill perk. Now put all together, the odds aren't high that you will even get the roll you want when you do actually get one. Some people will get a chocolate ghost, see the stats and just say "FÜCK! This one is useless!" So coupled with the low drop rate, the odds of: Getting a ghost Liking the perks Liking the roll Liking the light level These are enough variables to say probably a less than 1 percent chance of the players who play this week for example that will be happy with what they get

At least they put rose petals all over the tower. It shows that they care enough to romance you before they -blam!- you.
