CRIMSON DOUBLES WAS TOOOOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT.
I really wanted to like Crimson Doubles...
EDIT: Thanks for the support guys. I really hope this video stays around long enough to prove to Bungo how pissed off their community is at this sh*t show of a game. I wanna love Destiny but Chungie ain't helping.
EDIT 2: CLARIFICATION OF SALT LEVELS; Alright, seems like some explanation is need. So 90% I'm not salty. I deal with the bs that is this game, use what ever meta I need so I don't get finger popped by everyone I meet. This game had me choking on salt not just because of lag. A large part of it is that I've been playing TTK for like 4 months now. Got no news of the future, got no clue whether or not there will even be a reason to play this game in a month or whatever, and on top of all this sh*t that has slowly been making me play less Destiny, Bungie stands up and says: "BRUH, WE HEAR YOU. TOTALLY FIRED THAT OTHER GUY THAT MESSED THIS SH*T UP. WE'VE CHANGED, DUDE. SEEN THE LIGHT. WE'VE GOT SO MUCH CRAZY SH*T OVER HERE IT WOULD BLOW UR MIND. JUST WAIT FOR FEB UPDATE, BRUH. WE GOT U."
Then I play Crimson Doubles and realize it's literally a game mode I could have made myself if they had given us custom matches.
TL;DR So yeah, I'm salt af in this video, but normally I'm pretty chill. Crimson Doubles was just the straw that broke the camels back and I couldn't hold it back anymore.

10 RepliesAfter i finally tried Crimson doubles i couldn't be more dissapointed as i am now. How bad can an update suck?! Well as bad as Crimson obviously... Why does Destiny (mostly a men's game) even celebrate f*cking Valentine's day?! Are we little girls under the age of 14 or are we Men?!?!?!?! And then come up with this crap. It's a goddamn insult to your loyal gamers Bungie. Yeah im pissed off. Promising us fantastic updates, but when you deliver, you give us a big f*cking turd wrapped in present paper. This is BS!

Saaaame shit happened to me dude... except, at LEAST there was one game where bungie's lag referee made THEM the victims.. these 2 laggers were hard to kill snd teleporting but at least they were behaving like you'd expect laggers to by randomly walking obliviously and aiming at the sky etc lol

I enjoyed doubles, would have preferred legendary weapon drops instead of all the worthless legendary armour drops but I love playing doubles and I used quite a few guns that had been collecting dust in the vault so that was nice

Crimson Doubles wasn't worth the wait. It was shitty gameplay. A mini Trials event. The only reason I played it was for the 320 ghost. If that had not been offered as an incentive, I would have never played CD.

Lol, their creativity is running so damn dry now it's unbelievable. Lets put a stupid buff in doubles and add stupid ass rewards that aren't even good. There's no special unique armor. Just shaders and ghosts.

I went in to every match expecting to lose, both me and the dude I played with suck arlt PvP. We didn't win every match, but I was surprised how well we did, even shutting a few teams out. I had some fun, which I didn't think I would. My only issued were, as a squishy hunter, a broken heart buffed thorn user, burn using sunsinger or sunbreaker, and a stormcaller melee could one shot me as a non buffer, while running max armor for hunter. And of course, out of around 8 hours of grinding we only got two ghostz, both on the low end, between us. Of which, I fot neither. That said, I would prefer PvE content, new monsters, fresh guns ot something, over recycled double playlist with an added buff.

Been playing for fun and here are a few fun stories. Me Warlock and Son Hunter vs a TLW and Thorn (they had scouts on when started). We won quite comfortably with a heavy scout and a Hawkmoon Later on went for losses to try for 320 ghosts, both hunters. Suicided one, then first 4 of the next match. Then thought hmm why not. We won the next 4 easily and lost the last one going 4:5 My shader was Glowhoo and they were starting to rage. Will be taking son and a random friend into trials soon to see how we do.

Crimson Troubles- err doubles is definitely the worst seasonal event I've seen on Durpstiny, and in years from any game. It woulda been better to just repaint PvE Ultra and Major Taken enemies with pink or blood red overlay(you know because they 'took' hearts), make them drop 'broken hearts' that can be turned in to The Speaker to make them 'whole', eat them like candy and randomly distribute ghosts, shaders, or rarer chances for free Valentines special emotes. But nooooo we get elimination minus 1 player per team...

I was in the Freelance 6v6 playlist and there were tons of red bars. Even though they had the magic teleport ability, they could not seem to get many kills. One game with the worst offenders that were impossible to hit they only went like 4-20. I think that is where the "Damage Referee" is supposed to kick in now.
