I own the first generation Destiny on my PS4. I accidentally deleted my game. When I try to go back and redownload the game through PSN/Previous Purchases it refers me to buy the LEGENDARY version and does not allow me to download my previously purchased first gen copy??!!?! Please help. Thank you.

Edited by Geck0s: 2/12/2016 1:48:24 PMCases where you aren't supposed to be able to re-download are rare. http://www.polygon.com/2015/5/5/8557807/pt-silent-hills-demo-pulled Have young tried accesing https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/download/list from your computer? Maybe you could take some screenshots of the steps from where you find it to all the submenus where it has a price instead of a download button and put them on imgur.com or something. Be sure to crop out or black out any personal information like real name or address. Then we could try asking DestinyTheGame on Reddit of anyone over there knows how to fix it.

Are you sure you didn't redownload the free ad that they pushed to PS4s several months back? http://www.polygon.com/2015/10/6/9466065/destiny-taken-king-ps4-automatic-downloads-featured-content Maybe you need to go further back into your previous purchases list to find the vanilla destiny purchase. Does it show a date with each entry? I don't have a PS4 so I'm not really sure what those screens look like. If no body else has a better answer, maybe you can try borrowing a disc from a friend and use the disc to start the reinstall process, since you already bought the download copy, you should be able to take the disc out after it installs. This would also reduce the download time somewhat, though there will still be plenty of patches.

Sorry, but all deleted content can not be recovered. Luckily, if your characters are still on the account, you can simply buy a new copy and go from there. Hope I helped :)
