It's ridiculous what people ask for to do the raid now

1 ReplyInfact forget it. I'm never asking for a minimum level again. Instead I require 50 kings fall completions. I can check grimoire. Does this make the community happy?
-
12 RepliesWait until new content I can already see it 320+ must have maxed weapons, max grimoire, kd of 2.0 in trials and any other crucible activity, if you die more than 3 times your kicked. I miss anything?
-
2 RepliesI joined a lfg group yesterday and we couldn't get past the blam-ing totems. I left and found a post asking 318 and up only. I join and we did the whole hard mode raid fresh without one wipe. This included challenge mode. It makes a difference. If you have the time to waste with 315 PoS than go ahead. I'm not about that life.
-
Cause it's there raid. Start your own and make your demands

Im in an awkward spot since Im 312 through IB gear and only did normal KF twice lawl. Its been months since Ive done a raid so I cant really remember how to do KF, but I dont want to do normal since theres no point for me, and I probably wouldnt find a hard group to take me and show me again lmao. Buuuut I dont really like KF anyway so *shrugs*
-
Cos 9 times out of 10 people that join are retarded and bigger light level means more raid completions so got a better chance lf getting it done
-
1 ReplyEdited by ArcanumStorm: 2/11/2016 8:50:47 PMSimple.. Proves you have multiple completions and most likely multiple challenge mode completions. People are in the business of NOT wasting time...
-
3 Replieslooking for 2 320 players must have black spindle(320) for the first story mission on "normal"
-
Bcuz I'm turtle headin
-
At 318, you likely have the experience and certainly can do the dps required for a quick run. I'm not 318, but I don't mind that others have those limits.
-
If you're ballpark (315+) they'll probably take you. Especially if the post was within 2 minutes.
-
22 RepliesI ask for 318+ so I know that in my first run I wont spend more than an hour for the whole raid - not an hour on each section. Its not the light level I'm looking for - its the expereince that comes along with that light level. As long as this raid has been out, in general, if you are not 318+ then that means that you have very little experience or are the unluckiest rng son of a bitch alive.
-
1 ReplyLol we still talking about this??? Or was it a necro bump?
-
14 RepliesTo be honest I think most op's make the requirement's high because they aren't particularly good at raiding and want to be surrounded by high levels to make up for their own shortcomings. 290 and 305 respectively are adequate for the raid mechanics, same as the level requirement's for both the previous two raids were blown out of proportion.
-
1 ReplyBecause a large amount of this community completely suck! Ignorant people to say the least, a lot of people seem to forget that they were once low light/level. It's honestly obnoxious whatever happened to this game? My advice avoid LFG altogether, just play with friends.
-
3 RepliesBecause you have to be decent to stay alive long enough at below 315. 318 players can be bad and still do it. I had no chance of completing it with 310 teammates because they die left right and center but now everybodies high level I dont have to worry about the. If you consistantly die at oryx and youre 316+ then you most likely got carried and youre bad.
-
on March people ask for 320 only you will see
-
2 RepliesYeah I dont get it, light doesn't matter it's mostly experience. needed one for oryx once and got a message from a 290 titan that we decided to invite and we completed oryx on the second try, it was hilarious and we were from then on his favourite group on destiny
-
Cuz they're aholes, I'd rather not play with douches like that anyways. I reached 316 and no longer care about the raid, I'll just buy higher level gear when the next DLC comes out. This gear will all be obsolete anyways.
-
Cos there's that many scrubs out there who haven't got a fkin clue And I'm past spending 3 or 4 hrs just on Oryx!
-
2 RepliesEdited by Havok: 2/11/2016 1:37:17 PMWhy?? Because 90% of the destiny community is dumb and doesn't like to help other players through the raid even when they meet the raid requirements to be successful..

Edited by booooones: 2/11/2016 5:40:59 PMI'll describe my experience when our clan had to LFG one time. Guy comes in at 312 says he's familiar with everything pretty much. We make it to warpriest no problem. We explain our bubble/dps strat. He's with me. I tell him I'm a Titan and 318 and ur 312 so u take the plate up top when it's called. He grabs it. Dies on the first countdown. He claims he killed blah blah blah. Fortunately it passed to someone that hadn't held it before. We kill him. He dies immediately on golgo. He then precedes to say this is the smoothest his raid has ever gone in LfG. Like bro u died twice from trivial shit. So after we have to show him how to dodge the penis pushers we get to orxy. He claims he's done it before. He kills the knight that spawns directly behind him. We go to detonate 8 bombs. There are only six he insists he kills his knight. I'm Titan up top staring at his knight do the hot line bling emote right where his bombs should be. So he dies in the shade (of course) and we had to five man it with me popping a bubble and running third pillar. None of this happens when they know what they're actually doing.

I'm pretty sure we all know, OP is just an fgt
-
3 RepliesMy raid requirements: -3 of all chars at 318+, main has to be 319+ -320 ToM -Must know how to do everything -Must have 4 manned KF -At least 100 KF completions -320 Spindle -320 Sleeper -Must know where basketball court is No kids/scrubs allowed in my raids.
-
4 RepliesBecause they wanna be carried in a raid lol
-
2 Replieswhilst being 318 is no where necessary to be doing the raid, I can only imagine people want as smooth a run as possible and therefore want experienced people to play with being 318, generally speaking, means you have probably raided quite a few times and know what to do comfortably. but its not always the case
