XBOX ONE:
Ever since 2.1.1 update, I have been lagging more than ever. On top of that, I incessantly receive the "canary" error and I keep getting kicked from Destiny. Multiplayer is now worse due to your new matchmaking engine and I cannot play PvP anymore.
Worse yet - Destiny is causing thousands of networking errors across my gateway which in turn is filling up the gateway log files and forcing my gateway to shut down and make me restart it about every 5 mins or so. THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM because it did not happen prior to your launch of 2.1.1.
My ISP was just here for over an hour trying to figure it out and we have pinpointed it to Destiny. Any other online game I play is fine and I do not receive networking errors across my gateway. Same thing happens with my Xbox 360 console and Destiny.
Good job Bungie, you have just lost another paying customer. Here I come Division!

So according to your weekly post regarding "Damage Referee" - You all said What will happen (again, in theory), if my connection is bad? Paul: If your connection is bad, we'll be giving you even more reasons to improve it. Expect to lose fights a lot more often, even if you think you shot first or escaped behind cover in time. Things will get much better once you fix your connection, but at least you'll receive fewer angry messages in the meantime. So basically you are FORCING us to buy a faster connection?!?! Guess what geniuses - I live in an area where a faster connection is not available! I can only have a 4.3 Mb/s DSL connection! Our ISP has a monopoly on all of the network communications and improvements have not been made in the last 4 years and all of us here are being robbed for a mediocre connection. Ever hear of Frontier Communication? Do you research. SOME OF US CANNOT HAVE A BETTER CONENCTION. Damage Referee is a bunch of bunk to punish those with less than perfect connections to keep the other from bitching about lag. Damage Referee? FAIL!

Try playing this game with good connection and facing up against people with garbage connection and continuously loosing matches because you're lagging around the map. Good riddance i say!
