Crimson doubles literally highlights everything wrong with Destiny
The whole game promotes you to wait for special and camp your ass off with a sniper and play like a little B%$&#. I swear this mode is a joke lol it is in no way competitive and i propose that every gamemode should have the ammo nerf please do this. Everyone is scared of engaging in gunfights and it is so pathetic this is a fps not a sniping simulator primaries should be the main source of kills. I swear this is why there are so many complaints, Bungie you guys play this game you should now what is wrong with PvP, secondaries should not be used as primaries
Edit:For those saying rush them so they dont get special you do know they can use icebreaker and invective to regen ammo right....? Moreover players are not in some tiny little room where i can toss a grenade and kill two players. Players are mobile so they can keep gaining ammo while avoiding contact. These tips everyone has sound like they would work but are actually easier said than done.
Edit: I dont need tips -_-' every area in this game is a choke point for snipers as long as they can ads lines of sight and aim for the head with no scope sway

6 RepliesLmao I hate it when people say stay away from sniper lanes. Have you guys played the -blam!-ing game? Every single path is a sniper lane it is literally impossible to not be in a sniper lane.

2 RepliesWhat's really wrong is that this is a team-only event, and there's no matchmaking. If I CAN'T FRICKIN' DO IT because I'm solo, then issues with snipers and camping quickly become irrelevant.

For me and the people I was playing against there was little to none special camping. There a couple of rounds where one enemy was down and then it would turn into a melee only battle though which I found really weird.

Icebreaker plus Weapons of Light is broken too. Never have to leave the side of your bubble, and better than 1ky stare with firefly,

I´ve been playing PvP modes since Doom-Quake-Hexen-Heretic games came out using LAN, later other games like Unreal (since 1, later the tournament one), Counterstrikes (I don´t really like it, but well, I had to get along with my buddies), Halos, CoD Modern Warfares, Gears of War, even Mass Effects, and this PvP is a joke. I´m very sorry but most of PvP players nowadays are coward chickens, if they´re not in the right spot, the target is not where they predicted or there´s no special ammo most of the players doesn´t know what to do and they turn into a kill for me, they don´t have guts, no instinct, no bloodlust, they´re just a flesh AI that only knows one thing to do and can´t adapt to the situation if they get out of their confort zone, and that shows up when in patrol or PvE modes I find a player messing it up good over and over, surprise!, most of them are wearing parts of IB/Osiris and weapons for PvP, they can´t keep a fight for long time because all they know is to hide, sit and shoot. I have an idea, let´s rename Crucible PvP into Crucible PaB, Peek a Boo, it fits better.

1 ReplyIce breaker should work like a regular sniper and not regen ammo in pvp, it's basically a PVE gun anyway. Not too big of a deal. As for invective, it should only regen ammo if there is already aome ammo in it already. That means users will need to pick up some ammo for it to work. Not just that, if you switch secondaries (even when dead) you should lose all ammo.

1 ReplyAgreed. This is the only shooting game dumbass kids would rather camp than fight with their PRIMARY. Funny how year one was special weapon focused and fast forward to TTK special is still whored over. Pulse meta was the only time in this game primary weapons were used a lot.

1 ReplyI've been thinking about it, and I think I figured out some ways to fix Crimson Doubles' problems: 1) Switching Weapons at [u]any[/u] point (this includes during round end screens) removes all special ammo. 2) Special Ammo boxes no longer spawn in their usual locations. Instead, two Special Ammo boxes Spawn near the middle of the map. 3) Classify Snipers (and maybe all specials) as power weapons so (just like Heavies) they do not carry over the ammo from the previous round. What do you guys/gals think?

1 ReplyYour first statement made me stop reading! Thats ignorant, obviously you cant use a primary weapon! If you cant get in on there spawn and kill them sucks to suck get good! And you can either bum rush them while they are running around or do what they do and gather special while looking for them...... And if your gonna complain about invective and icebreaker, either get one of each and use it, or figure out how you can combat that and win. Such a silly goose
