1. Because I like it.
2. To make you cheap, full time gamer nerds mad that would rather spend $5 dollars on hot Cheetos and Mountain Dew.
(Edit) Lotta salt. Guess it worked ha ha. You people act like 5 bucks is 50 smh
(Edit) wow didn't know this would be so popular.
Also shoutout to Numba Wun and his post! I think he feels the same way about the game as a lot of us do.

81 RepliesBuy it cause you -blam!-ing like it, man. I don't know if it's the coffee in me, or the fact that I've spent the last 15 minutes listening to people complain that there are no disadvantages to sniping (lol), but I'm feeling a bit testy. I'm glad you bought the emote. I'm glad Bungie implemented. They're having fun. We're having fun. If you're not having fun, please, please do yourself the favor and go find something else to do. I'm tired of being called pathetic for loving Destiny by people who've spent 10 - 15 times the amount of time I have with the game... and are still playing. I'm tired of people complaining about Destiny. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, sure. But at least do it in an intelligent way. Do it in a sincere way. Do it in a respectful way. It's people like you, OP, and I that ruin the game? Because we support it? Because we still love it despite it's flaws? Because we buy things that make us laugh? Really? If having a good time playing a video game is destroying it, then I want to completely nuke the game. No, folks. What's ruining the game is negativity, disrespect, entitlement, bloated expectations, the vitriol, the unrepentant hypocrisy. All the people who justify their counterproductive behavior by blaming Bungie for their current state of un-happy. What's ruining the game is the portion of the community that clings to Destiny as if their lives depended on it, but then turn around and throw as much bile and hate toward the game as they can imagine. If we're going to fix Destiny, we need to support it, we need to support each other, we need to support Bungie. But most of all, we need to support our own damn selves. If you ain't happy, go find something else that will make you happy. So yes, OP. -blam!- yes. Buy all the hotline bling emotes you want. Because if it's making you happy, then, damn it, you're doing it right.

Drake has zero talent. Fight me.
-
I'm happy that your are happy but its obvious you wanted to stir the pot for attention lol. Look at my characters and you will see what I purchased this week. -blam!- that I will save you time, I got the hot line bling dance because its to damn funny but I didn't make thread like you op. People comment how salty this community is but with the amount of bait posts, nerfs, I quit, -blam!- bungie, and obvious class war threads(which class is better) its easy to push peoples buttons. So before you go and judge others for being salty in the replies your thread doesnt help the cause. Also remember to hotline bling in good health guardian.

How many fish have you caught dude

I work , earn money, spend it on whatever I want.
-
Bought the hotline bling and Napoleon dance with the left over silver from SRL :^)
-
I bought one for me and one for my boyfriend as a gift, as an intentional contribution to Bungie. Just because the forums flow strong with salt water doesn't mean there aren't some of us who still genuinely enjoy this game.
-
Dooood I love hot cheetos :)
-
1 ReplyNapoleon dynamite, carlton, jump on it dance. These were all great dances and totally worth the buy. Holiness bling? Really? That failure of a song and lack of any kind of dance skill is a disgrace to all dances that came before it. That's my $0.02
-
please people forgive me for what I've done, when they introduced micro transactions I told myself that I won't spend a single cent on them, but... but...i knew when that hotline bling, it could only mean one thing.
-
And yes I would rather eat fat ass foods then buy a virtual dance move for a game that has gone to crap.
-
That's why they won't come out with any new substantial and fun content. If they are banking from people buying virtual dance moves, why take the time to make new ish.
-
16 RepliesPpl like you are the reason I stopped playing this game 3 months ago and cld care less about any future destiny content. Dlc, destiny 2 or destiny 27. Cld care less. Now they know what ppl are willing to deal with and be happy with and the crap they can get away with and have ppl still defend them.. Its only going get worse.. Yes I still enjoy reading post on the forums from time to time.. Such a sad thing what destiny became and what some of this community thinks is acceptable. That's cool tho im glad your happy.lol and maybe if you actually worked for your money and didn't live off mom and dad or the government you would understand the value of a dollor and why some of us don't like just throwing money at the tv.

Edited by xSinicle: 2/11/2016 10:28:54 PMThe people complaining are the same who want 15 dollars and hour at mcdonalds.
to be able to buy emotes
5 bucks is 50 to Bungie. Err... maybe it's 0.05 bucks?

I genuinely think a lot of the people on this forum look to Destiny for validation and self worth, they are so insecure in themselves that they need a computer game to feel like they matter. I struggle to find any other reason why people get so emotionally involved in the decisions of a computer game company and others who play the game. It is a game, play it for fun but realise unless you are a pro gamer how you play the game has zero impact on your real life or who you are as a person. But you see people getting genuinely angry and worked up at the stupidest things, people having bitter arguments and throwing personal insults over who is the better player. A bit of trash talk and fun in fine, being passionate and wanting to win is fine, but remember IT'S NOT REAL, 99.9999999 of people in the real world don't care if you are good or not. The level of ego here is bordering on the insane. For what any of us have paid for this game compared to the amount of time we have played it it is probably the best value computer game we have ever purchased. Play it for fun!!!!!!!

Hambo the RatYou made me like this! - old
full time gamer nerds
Wut? -
You could have gotten it for free from the nightfall. We will laugh at you whilst we get our free emotes and you pay for yours.
-
No one cares for two reasons:
A: No one cares

2: No one cares

Nice bait though
Edited by A_CANADIAN: 2/11/2016 6:40:00 PMNerf hot line bling dance it last too long and I don't have it
-
10 RepliesThat's not the point idiot Just cause 5$ isn't 50$ doesn't justify buying something that promotes asinine ideas like micro transactions Clearly you don't understand the value of a dollar
-
1 ReplyI wouldn't buy it because drake blows as does most rap. Let's steal other people's music and call it sampling. Then string together a bunch of words that might rhyme at the end but make little to no sense. And now we come out with these retaaaaded dances and name them. Rap is hands down the most unintelligent "music" ever made.
-
2 RepliesI bought it too. I like it, but I wouldn't bought it, if I didn't have the extra silver left over. $5 real money is high for a emote.
-
#1 is all that matters. #2 is bait.

Man you are really hooking them in today
nice b8 m8 appric8 I r8 8/8
