They said this in their latest podcast.
You've really shown us all bungie. You've totally given us nothing to be excited about or to do.
Even your biggest fans are admitting your game is just a pvp clone now.
So now get to the back of the queue of the real pvp games if that's what you're hoping to challenge.
You've given us nothing since way before Christmas that's new or even mentioned it in news.
Just pvp.
A lot of us guessed you would eventually turn pure pvp. Guess you have now.

4 RepliesEdited by gallp13: 3/5/2016 12:11:45 AMThe pve drought will be broken from time to time but it will NEVER end. Simple reason - millions of players will ALWAYS consume pve content faster than it can be developed by hundreds of people. The drought will NEVER end because is impossible to end it. 2 RepliesI agree, they should buff fusion rifles.

2 Replies1 raid 5 strikes is bungie a idea of pve content that gets old fast.. We need 2-3 raids 10-15 strikes with release of Destiny 2

Edited by REdrUm0351: 2/17/2016 1:45:19 PMI remember a time when Bungie stated that PVP would not affect PVE. Then PVP ruined the weapons and skill trees in PVE. I thought that this would be a solid PVE game with a separate yet decent PVP counterpart. Instead It is a alien futuristic COD Space with a tacked on PVE game.

3 RepliesThey were probably hoping for Destiny World Championships, like Halo has, so they could jump on the media money train. Sorry, Bungie. Looks like you'll have to go back to earning money the old fashioned way: quality work that you sell to customers, whom you treat with respect in order to keep as customers. Remember? You make it, we buy it (maybe), you appreciate the fact that we keep you in business. It's not that hard. Lots of companies do it and it seems to be working for them. You might want to try it.

1 ReplyThe problem is the player base eats the turd they polish and hand to us. They've said before they pay attention to our gameplay metrics more than the forums. But, the community is dumb and grinds out this crap content regardless. We could easily make the dev team take notice by not playing this crap doubles mode and showing them we don't consider it worth our time. Instead, people hopped on the hamster wheel and are going to grind out 20 hours or more of gameplay on this one activity in order to get the possible 320 ghost drop. Then bungie will come back to us next week talking about how big of a success the event was, how much time was logged in it over every other activity, and decide to pump more polished pvp turds out for us in the months to come instead of actually finding a way to generate story content.

2 RepliesThere are incapable of making a good pvp game and wait and see all the fanboys rush and say it is good but good pvp games are cod as much as most of you hate to admit it and BF. destiny cannot compete with either of these 2
-
6 RepliesGood thing they've been dropping hints at a new expansion coming out.
-
10 RepliesWell, this game is slowly turning into another Halo. A little story mode and off the PvP. If that's the case then I'll find something else to occupy my time. At this point I'd rather watch paint dry then play PvP in this game. I hope they will be content with only 2 million in sales because that's about all they will get without the PvE crowd.

Bump.

2 Repliesi just think the 3 people on the live team have barely enough resources to keep up with pvp and havent even had time to even think about pve

5 RepliesBy this time year one we had been playing the first dlc for weeks. If they did nothing but made year 2 options for the old raids it would give Destiny a shot in the arm it needs. VOG could be overrun by taken. We'd fight a taken version of Atheon. They could just re-skin the old armor, make it year 2 standard with light levels. The raid gear could be reskinned as well. They could remove the burn from the primary weapons if they must. A normal and hard mode year 2 VOG as well as normal and hard mode year 2 CE. Minimal effort for them, lots more for us to do.
-
5 RepliesYeah. If I were a primarily or purely PvE guy, I'd have been out of here a long time ago.
-
1 ReplyHow many times do I need to do the strikes and missions.. it's played out.. heck I don't even do the full raid ne more, just the challenge

A lot of the PvE is stuck in year one. The only thing they did to bring it back was a few missions and a quest that makes you go back to the first raid to get a part from the final boss. Maybe instead of finding new story they should atleast bring the old raids forward and add new challenges and year 2 gear for it.

To show bungie , is not to play destiny and take this crap with the Crimson double no rewards , no new extics , don't play destiny thats how you show them
-
3 RepliesThey suck at supporting pvp too! How long have we asked for private matches and balance? Nerfing guns isn't balance.

9 RepliesKinda sucks, I just got touch of malice and now I'm so burned out on the nothing to do. Tried warframe out the other day. Doubt I'll stick but it seems like a decent distraction until division comes out.
