Stop giving this game such a hard time you all know it's the best that's been made and it will only get better hang in there. Buy more emotes and things support them and they will support us.

If you want raids go play an MMO such as FFXIV or ESO, both are great and have upcoming PvE/PvP content releases and are on consoles (FFXIV being on PS4/PC). Need a good shooter for PvP? Halo 5 is your best bet, it's got the best Halo multiplayer in years and is constantly expanding, not the mention it's competitive scene has started to spread it's wings recently. Not sure what the best PS4 FPS is.

Not doubting you but just out of curiosity, name a better game, not just in your opinion, but one that is truly better.

Final Fantasy 7 (Upgrade system, story, length/value) Goldeneye (Multiplayer was hilariously fun) Halo (Nothing like 4 TVs and 4 xboxs, all night and good friends, gameplay/story <debatable, but more cohesive than Destiny) Super Mario (Platforming at its best, innovative for time, solid replay just for score) BioShock (story, upgrade, plot twist) The Last of Us (story alone is fantastic, gameplay) These games may be in different eras, however they had development teams that polished before release and gameplay that innovated their genres. (Exception LoU) One thing they all have in common is they were released in a time where "patches" and updates were not an option. Games had to be complete and stand on the launch gameplay or die. Each also offered decent replay value without needing content packs or refreshes (exception LoU). Repetitive? Maybe. However I put a crap ton into each either to refine my play or (and here's a shocker) they remained fun to play even after growing old. These are not "The Best", I'm sure I could go on, and on. However each is far better than Destiny for numerous reasons. Destiny has, maybe had, potential. Bungie has consistently dicked it up by refusing to listen to players, and by listening to players that shouldn't have been heard in the first place. You call detractors haters. Some of us have put many hours into this game only to be shit on and lied to, see content from yr 1 made into a DLC, nerfs, stupid decisions (NF changes anyone?), and sometimes just laziness. I don't hate the game by any means, but I'm growing to despise Activision and Bungie.

That sounds like your opinion which is fine to have but to knock someone for having a different opinion than your own is kinda hypocritical. My favourite game of all time was NHL 94 on Nintendo but that doesn't actually mean it's better

Opinion if they were MY choices for best game, yes. If you deny that each offers something to this day that is better than Destiny, than you're simply in denial. Destiny lacks in (and this is not opinion) 1. Story (which disqualifies it immediately for "Best"). Common knowledge the story was butchered and pasted together in Vanilla, then content (Dreadnaught) was either added here and there or pushed in DLCs. Go heads and call that Best. (Nearly and game out or coming out bests this easily) 2. RNG system is seriously flawed. So much that we see events that drop 320 gear in hopes of putting a band aide on the problem and hoping we don't notice. Unacceptable to grind 5 levels in a repetitive racing (minus physics, and tracks) events to find that 320 helmet or cloak. This was not only done to appease those that don't/can't raid, but.... 3. $10 stat tracker. Nuff said. 4. Breaking the NF, removing a buff and dicking the drops. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the NF. The changes were made to extend the grind, probably since it was felt the content would run out before any meaningful addition would be made. Name 1 person who wanted this change. 5. Making old gear irrelevant outside of normal crucible. We can argue t about weapons all day, but why leave armor behind? There was a comment about guardians not looking the same, yet defining armors have been pushed to the side and guess what...most guardians look the same. 6. On weapons- exotics are now hardly exotic. The ones that aren't are pretty much situational. There's little to nothing special any more. Could blame crybabies for this too. 7. Horrid connection based system. Players are then pitted against one another, arguing over who has good enoug Internet to play and who doesn't. This shouldn't be an issue, and it's greed that continues it. [b]This alone would deny Destiny as "Best".[/b] I could go on. But I will stop with this: Bungie. Bungie is really #1 obstacle to Destiny being "Best". Refusal to actively communicate with its player base. Refusal to actually right the wrongs (connection, shit RNG, actual balance instead of half assed nerfs) and elevate this game even an inch. Stubborn refusal to acknowledge that players have excellent ideas that would improve the quality of this game. So, go ahead and call me a hypocrite. I'd wager without looking I've invested more time into this mess than you have. While I am not the end all and be all of opinionated players, I have the experience and time invested to see past the "good" and highlight the flaws. And I assure you, I am not alone.

You are right. They need those emote purchases to fund the staff that is managing new content. I think that people aren't buying enough silver, so they have to limit their focus to PVP, as PVE takes more time/staff/money. If we do our part, they will do theirs!!!
