But what's the difference? There's a limit on how many times you can play trials? I'm just saying that a really skilled player can play with ransoms all day and night. So I don't see the difference.

The difference is that running three cards in a weekend is only blocking others for a small window of time. The sherpas running all weekend block 100s of people (maybe 1000) from seeing the lighthouse every weekend. Then they carry 20 and act like they're helping the community.
