Destiny only has dedicated servers at these locations tower and reef.Destiny primarily uses peer to peer servers.What that means is there is a lobby host. If the lobby host has a green bar at matching then loads into a game with yellow or red welcome to lag city. the same reason is why lag is always to your advantage in Destiny. What causes a player to be a red bar is potato internet or a bad connection to lobby host. Ie a player lives in north america and the host lives in Middle East the data has a long way to travel. They need to change match making to region and connection based. If people play against people in the same region it will eliminate most of the lag.
