Best class for mid-long range style play (PvP)?
I just got this game a week ago or so.. I love the game and love PvP.. however I find I die to people bum rushing me up close 90% of the time. What would be a good class to escape the bum rushes efficiently? I like sniping/ focus rifles/ maybe a good handgun when I get one.. Thanks!

Gunslinger is the best at mid to long range. Between golden gun, throwing knifes and trip mine you can really reach out and touch someone. If you are worried about others closing the distance or playing a close quarters map go nightstalker as it has a better mix between defensive and offensive abilities.

Hunters gunslinger & nightstalker are exactly what your looking for, they are not that good at close range but have good abilities to keep enemies at a distance. But be aware that Hunters require more skill to play since their jump & melee have a very different feel from the other classes.

Long range stuff =gunslinger with its stability perk and reload if you want IMO I like to be absolute cancer and invis shadowjack shotgun people I got so many team wipes with that plus the invis one on the arc blade is highly underrated it massacres people on maps like that fallen bandit hideout map

Hunter gunslinger has good skills. Especially if you plan on chaining critical his.

Hunter, any class really. For quick escapes you want nightstalker with shade step or bladedancer with blink.
