Difficult question me and my fiance thought about but it goes something like this 3 people of the same age go deaf. They each speak different languages as their native tongue. For the sake of argument well say English, Chinese, and Spanish. Given the difference in use of vowels and consonants, not to mention the crazy accents that dictate how a letter may be spoken.... would one person find more difficulty learning to lip read in their native tongue than another might?
