Final damage falloff distance extends 0.5 meters longer for a smoother drop.
Slower ready/stow times for all shotguns.
Additional recoil across the entire Stability stat range.
Slower reload speed across the entire Reload stat range.
Slower time to Aim Down Sights for all shotguns.
Slower base movement speed when Shotguns are the active weapon (Walk, Run and Aim Down Sights. Sprint is unaffected.)
Add 2 frames delay when firing out of sprint.
Increase base damage against AI combatants to 1.6x (was 1.55x).
Personally I was not phased by the shotgun nerf, but it did prevent every noob from getting kills by charging and shooting from long distances, instead of using tactical skills.
Same goes for Fusion rifles. Nerfed almost every weapon tuning update, but still competitive by above average players.
Is it only the scrubs that would be afraid of a sniper nerf?

I like idea that snipers should have a slower ready time and should make you move a little slower when you have it equipped. Since they don't have scope sway I think that should be a fair trade off. People will definitely rethink spending time in one spot for long.
-
Those that are good with snipers are typically just good in general. Take away the snipers they will still outgun you with something else. It is a neverending cycle of whiners whining because someone beat them.
-
So damage fall off on a sniper?....
-
No I don't think they should. I prefer to reck them with mida or hung jury.

1 ReplyI think Snipers need the Chaperone Treatment. Reduce Body Shot damage so that people can't abuse and exploit lack of Precision shooting, but in turn increasing Sniper Headshot damage modifiers. Can't tell you how many times I've been killed by people running cheap combos like 1000 Yard + Mida or TLW.

1 ReplyHave damage falloff start at melee range? That's a terrible idea

Otherwise an ammo economy adjustment, rewrite at this point, is needed. I get that bungie wants the game to be friendly and inclusive to all players and their set ups but it makes the game play like crap. Why don't we start with heavy and keep it on death? Oh yeah because it would play like crap also. -------Why special weapons that are power weapons aren't treated the same is baffling. Yeah special weapons aren't stupid easy to kill with but they do oneshot, excluding sidearms, and that's still worth doing something about. Special ammo should play like heavy use to. You don't get any at start, and when it drops everyone gets it and if they die they drop it for the killer to pick up. Though I'd like it all to go back to the way halo did it, same for orbs. That's because the way it is now you can't always tell what the hell the players are thinking. You don't see what they see in other words. Sharing ammo and orbs would solve this completely, and lead to some fun plays also. While also greater emphasizing team play with orbs being obtainable by all. PvP is a mess, but that's another topic.

I snipe and shotgun and use fusions occasionally and I feel like sniper rifles are too good right now What's the point of having an unflinching perk if the flinching without the perk isn't noticeable? They should increase flinching unless you have the perk and they should also increase the flinch recovery time unless you have the perk

7 RepliesThey have to put every weapon back to how they were the first month of destiny
-
2 RepliesI really dont see why snipers need nerfing. Certainly aim assist could be toned down a bit but at the end of the day, Its still easier to stomp on sniper players. Fusion do need a buff though. They are not competitive.
-
Just dont put your big head infront of the bullet.
-
4 RepliesNo, stop whining and dont get shot
-
I think the only thing that needs to be tuned about snipers is aim assist.
-
1 ReplyWhat give snipers a range nerf? K
-
1 ReplyLol, I give snipers the shotgun, treatment everytime I'm in crucible, : )
-
Buff sidearms and fusion rifles and everything will be ok
-
2 Replies"Tactical skills"? Lmfao destiny, has NO tactical skill whatsoever .
-
They will eventually. The first step is always special ammo nerf!
-
1 ReplyI think they should have reverse damage falloff. Close range doesn't do much damage but they do full damage at long range
-
1 ReplyWe need a crucible playlist where no special ammo or heavy spawn? We need a game that the try hard players will avoid! There sucking the fun out of the crucible!
-
How to find badkids 1) They whine about snipers
-
2 RepliesNo they shouldn't, because shotguns were overpowered and not functioning correctly. Snipers are a long range precision weapon and it does exactly that.
-
9 RepliesI'd rather changes not bleed into pve. That's really my only issue. It always negatively affect pve, and I always notice the differences. It's getting pretty annoying, actually.
-
I'd love to see a nerf to stop people from rushing with a sniper and quick scoping.. Change to so the closer you are the less damage you do.. Shotgun range would be like being hit by a primary from a auto riffle lol

1 ReplyIt would be nice
