Kings Fall raid has segregated a great deal of players
I think the biggest mistake Kings Fall has done lately is segregating a great deal of players who want to raid but can't handle the mechanics.
Vault of Glass was amazing because there were some easy mechanics to understand and that a new timer could easily understand it in a day. I understood VoG mechanics in a day when it came out.
Kings Fall came out and it took a great 4 days to get used to thanks to an overwhelming amount of mechanics that personally I think should need to be reduced in the next raid.
I've been struggling to find some guardians to do a hard kings fall for my Warlock just to get higher light gear and my goodness, I really feel sorry for those who haven't raided Kings Fall. I do. It's a great raid. Just wish I could do it more often cause it's a fun raid and even though mechanics may be overwhelming to most, it can easily be learn within a week.
But now I'm struggling to find people to raid with cause people will see my lower light level and not even accept me cause I'm low light level.
Gg Bungie. You made a raid that caters to the elite and 1% of the community. I hope for a raid that everyone can do and there is less mechanics, I'm sorry but there are too many mehanics for a new player to achieve and understand in a day.
So I'm just asking this, who in the community is kind enough to help me? Cause at this point I feel like deleting my other two characters and just making 3 Titans cause that's the only way I can raid any more.
Btw I'm on PS4.
Edit* Thank you to those who were positive and would support me all the way. The ones that posted negative comments just remember your only bumping my post and helping me consume my daily dose of salt that I needed to make a delicious omelet. So very satisfying. So those that continue to post negativity just remember your helping me bump and create delicious foods with your salt.

Everyone wants to jump into a 315+ team. And when theyre denied, they go and blame 'elites' for their own lack of initiative in setting up a party. We all had to set up our own teams and work out way up the light ladder 4 month ago. Now we all just want a fast run because we paid our dues. I mean whats to stop you making a post and leading your own 308 light team? Your not the only guy with a low light alt who needs a hard raid. But people wont do this because theyre the actual elitists who wont raid with other low lights for the same reason the so called 'elitists' wont. Because EVERYBODY wants a quick easy run. Forum logic: Guardian 1: " I cant get my 307 in a hard raid because of those damn elitists and their 315+ posts" Guardian 2: "Just make your own lfg post bro and ask for 305+ with mic and go have fun?" Guardian 1: " I arent carrying no 305 light scrub through hm"

1 ReplyRaids are meant to be the ultimate challenge of the game basically. Mechanics aren't even hard to figure out at all. All it takes is trial and error and using your brain, logic, and critical thinking. Problem solving just isn't a common skill for people anymore. Also people who can't listen or follow directions and aren't smart enough to grasp the concept of counter clockwise should probably be in school getting an education and not playing video games to begin with. I seriously can't believe how many people don't understand clockwise and counter clockwise, especially when you've explained it over and over and over to them and made it as simple and clear as possible.

3 RepliesVog mechanics were NOT easy for most people to grasp, but 1-2 people who did understand them could carry a whole fireteam. Countless times I saw people who killed themselves while detained, were unable to hold the relic, unsuccessful at walking past gorgons, etc..Kings fall may hold more of the fireteam accountable for the mechanics, but they aren't that tough. Watch instructional videos on YouTube. That way you can learn without wiping your fireteam.

If you fail this room, stop playing Destiny and pop in Mario you noob Room 4. Golgy? Literally kill adds until someone says shoot the chandelier, stand in ink and shoot Room 5. More jumping! Mario Castle in world 1 level. Easy as -blam!- Room 6. Sisters, If you're torn, jump the puzzle, it only goes one way... dunk the basketball on the one not on fire Room 7. Sorry, but I think the "mechanics" of the KF raid are very easy. The issue is that Bungie have ensured that everyone has to play a part. Unlike Crota, which was basically a solo raid where you could easily carry a team. I once did a hard crota whilst taking two players accounts in at once (my account and carrying my daughters titan). The KF raid requires each player to understand the mechanics and also be able to "shoot stuff and don't die" as one of my rading friends would say.

There are many paths to form your own team if you choose to raid. The100, lfg and others take time and to do it right.

I never did the kings fall raid nor crota. VOG once though on normal. People have told me without raiding my character's would never see light 300. Well found a fix for that one. I don't play raids mainly because of the jumping puzzles and the sheer difficulty. At my age I don't play games to raise my blood pressure. I play to have fun. Doing the IB and getting very lucky at each time in the past 3 months has gotten my Warlock at 309 and nearly at 310.

4 RepliesI understand everything I just suck at jumping that's why when I get to daughters if I get torn I just wipe and let someone else do it. I tried a couple times with a team that was pretty patient. Though I have yet to defeat oryx. Most teams give up if we don't get it after about 3 attempts. And this is just on normal. And I'm on 360 before anyone offers to help.

I think where most get angry are when they try to tell you what you should be doing, and you just keep making the same mistake over and over, because you don't listen. By "you" I mean anybody. Its true as well, that most just want to get it done now. The drops suck most of the time. I have always believed that you do not reach the highest light by being a Destiny god. Its purely the amount you play, and lucky drops. I have known some that got 3 different 320 drop in the same raid, while others get shards. Just listen, stay alive, and do your part the best you can.

I LOVE the new mechanics, I like the feeling of everyone having a "role" Makes victory feel even better. Buts that my opinion, Everyones entitled to an opinion.

Well they need to get better and be willing to practice, if not tough. Can't make everything easy mode for the scrubs then those of us whom enjoy a challenge have nothing

I've finished both normal and hard, and have gotten all three challenges done. But I am in no way a member of the elite 1 %. The raid isn't that hard to understand, and unless you are a 300 light trying to do the hard raid, I could care less about your level. The hardest part of the raid, is just trying to find a group that can work well together, when you can find a group. Anybody is welcome to add me as a friend, and I will help any time I can. I am not the best player in the world, and make my share of mistakes, but can still hold my own in the raid.
