Destiny YouTubers are cancer
Seriously. The ones that put out videos explaining what's good and how to use it and what strategies are best. It's you. You're the cancer. You tell people what's right and wrong in the game. Then you complain for us, saying that no one is enjoying crucible or destiny in general, when its your damn tactics videos people listen to and then tell their friends about. Advocating for easy sniping. Advocating for no nerfs because there's been too many. Yeah, there has. But that doesn't mean they got it right finally. They need to stop, and so do the YouTubers that give crucible advice. Hate all you want, because I already collected my bucket of salt. There should be enough here for everyone to collect.

It really is becoming a problem in gaming in general. Creates heard mentality I disagree with youtuber tactics on many games and do just fine. But yeah they need to stop trying to say this one setup is best. I don't mind them saying I use _______ because it fits my play style of ________ and also gives me ____________ benefit. I know in most shooters I optimize for stealth and longer range encounters. In short tell people to make their own decisions in terms of load out.

Only one I ever really watched was truevanguard. Often times he talks about different loadouts/subclasses other than the sweaty versions. Don't have a lot of experience with anyone else but what you're talking about us the age of today. It's no different than the walkthrough from prima games years ago. Information this day and age is at your fingertips anymore. It's just how it is.

2 RepliesPartly agree. Partly because I don't think True Vanguard who has done many tip and advice videos could ever be considered a cancer. Seems like a really decent guy and doesn't have an ego the size of the moon that many of the others seem to have. I'm not a huge watcher. It's literally a ten minute video to pass some time but I'm more concerned by the ones who purport to represent us and act as if they are the community mouthpiece and have Bungies number on speed dial!. It's a tiny minority having way too much influence.
