What is your opinion of best pve group pve solo and pvp armor for sunslinger warlock
English
#Destiny

Pve group: Either HopF with radiant skin or LBN. Lots of nades to burn enemies. Good for bosses and mobs and orb generation. PvE solo: HopF yet again, same combo. Depending on activity and skill, use self rez. PvP: HopF w/ radiant skin and solar grenades. Kills idiots that stands in them. PvP hardcore (trials): HoPF or LBN. Self rez. Not overwhelming for self rez, and kills are harder to get, but useful for rushing in past their lines and using while they're distracted.

1 ReplyNerf they throw to many Suns.

1 Replypoor spelling typo aside - I pretty much use The Ram on everything. The survivability it offers is outstanding regardless of what class you're running. Heart of Praxic is never a bad choice, but is sort of wasted when you're only using radiance to self-res in end-game PVE content, but if you use radiant skin and a "tank build" then Praxic can really shine. Nothing Manacles can still almost act like a second-super, despite the nerf. I always keep Light Beyond Nemesis with me in case I end up in a raid team that's light on hunters and I need to help generate orbs. I was expecting great things from The Stag, but personally have not been able to utitlize it apparently. Voidfangs are never a bad PVP choice, but I find them pretty useless in PVE. Claws can make for a wicked build if you pair them w/say a Monte Carlo and really know how to utilize them. Impossible Machines probably have the most add clearing potential - but I hate sacrificing my Rez for end-game content so I find them pretty niche and only for easy-medium difficulty PVE content. Not worth the exotic slot for PVP imo. Apotheosis Veil - I personally haven't used much in year 2 now - but I'm hearing good things, may have to give a go. Starfire is all about sticky bombs - which I do love, but I constantly change grenades depending on what fight I'm in so it's too much hassle juggling. Obsidian mind combined with Bad Juju is absurdly fun - for just casual PVE play it's by far my favorite build. but not good in PVP, nor useful in difficult PVE content - so very niche, but very fun. Sunbreakers - meh, very niche, requires dumb enemies that will stand in your flare. Alchemists - I'd initially blown off as useless - but after falling in love with swording everything, I may have to give it a fresh chance, having more heavy ammo is never a bad thing. Purifier Robes- capable of some seriously clutch moments in PVP - but your giving up your exotic slot on the chance you get that perfect moment. only one time (in year 1) did I actually manage to blind most of a team capturing (B) and savagely slaughter them. it was awesome, but too niche to use regularly. Skull is about useless ..... by far worst exotic. "tougher while using nova bomb" is not worth your exotic slot, and "improved energy drain" if you want a better melee use claws, and if you want better nades there's several options...

Heart of praxic Fire. Dat recharge rate. Apotheosis veil is good too.
-
Probably Young Ahamkara Breakers
-
Apotheosis veil
-
4 RepliesI like apotheosis veil with radiant skin and claws of ahamkara are also a solid choice
-
people are really sleeping on the apotheosis veil. if you lovae radiant skin tgat thing is a beast and makes for some clutch moments.

2 Replies*sunsinger ~ I believe your problem is combining the subclasses sunsinger with gunslinger to form the ultimately OP subclass sunslinger

Edited by An Oracle: 2/5/2016 2:00:02 PMAchlyophage ram.
edit: someone beat me to it
Edited by uraniumboss235: 2/5/2016 2:14:17 PMI like celestial protocol because it makes my radiance gun do over 9000 times more damage
-
2 RepliesHelm of praxic fire.
-
Sunslinger?
-
Sunsinger....and either Claws of Ahemkara for double melee or Heart of Praxic Fire for more grenades
-
Sunsinger* claws for sure
-
Edited by KimHasselager: 2/5/2016 1:52:37 PMI like my starfire protocol, and make grenades burn enemies, combined with more dmg/burn and longer... lots might say the praxic is better, but idk i just do not feel much difference ( unless you also make radiance last longer )
-
Sunsinger heart of the praxic Fire or the ram, gunslinger? Celestial nighthawk or young ahamkaras spine
-
Pvp probably void fang or ram. I don't like to use sun singer in pve. It gives you an extra life and all but it's not a fun class to me.
-
5 RepliesBest armor exotic for the "SUNSLINGER" is probably the Achlyophage Vestaments. Good luck bruh.

Sunsinger*

9 RepliesHonestly it all depends on your play style. A lot of guys like The Ram while running max armor because it allows you to survive a lot of things that you couldn't survive otherwise. The Voidfang Vestments are popular in PvP. The idea is to run 2 grenades and every time you die, you respawn with 2 grenades off the bat. Definitely nice to have.... if you die a lot. My favorite is Starfire Protocol. It lets me have 2 fusion grenades for free, so I can choose Angel of Light on the perk tree and still have my double grenades. I really love Angel of Light in PvP, because it lets you shoot enemies from mid-air, which most people aren't used to seeing. Being able to pause mid-jump and snipe someone is pretty handy. But I also like it in PvE too for the same reasons. In PvE it's nice to have fusion grenades because those do the most damage, so they make it easier to put down a charging knight or minotaur. If you're looking to get a lot of DPS out of Radiance grenades, definitely go with Heart of Praxic Fire, as it makes your abilities regenerate faster while in Radiance, which means more grenades for you. HoPF is also good if you use the Song Of Flame perk to boost your fireteam's ability recharge during Radiance. It actually improves the buff for your teammates.
