Exactly, I want to use hawkmoon, but it seems so inaccurate when I don't need it to be (like when I see a TLW out of the corner of my eye). I end up having to shoot it as slow as the first curse, but in that case, shouldn't I just use the first curse anyway?

Exactly! If I've aimed on target, then why should I miss, with a relatively slow firing weapon?

Edited by x343NINJAx: 2/5/2016 3:02:28 PMI mean, I can understand, to a degree. What the bloom does is make slower firing weapons better at range. However, this does not mean that hawkmoon should have the accuracy of pocket infinity when someones only like 10 meters away.

Yeah, I mean they called them handcannons, not pistols. So good range should be expected of them, really. Perhaps a bit of a 'settling' animation when firing? Like with a real weapon, you fire, the weapon kicks, then you settle back on aim? We seem to mainly just have 'kick' in destiny. Settling would make their ideal fire rate more obvious.

Yes, this! Totally.

you are spot on . The hawkmoon is deceiving the user on its actual optimal firing rate. When you shoot it it kicks like a donkey and the barrell only slowly drops . The thing is , in reality you can already shoot acuarately again before the barrell comes back down . The problem with it is that you cannot see where you are aiming while the gun is still kicking . So you have to shoot blind , but if you get used to it , it really works very well.
