2 RepliesI'm a pvp fan.. I play a few games daily and love playing trials win or lose. But they do need to say something by now about pve and release the remaining exotics already. I am blown away they have taken this long to release the remaining content. They should have a pve event and soon.. One that isn't based around a money grab.. When the queen had her bounties. It was a nice surprise cause it came out of nowhere and there wasn't a money grab in it or stupid ass emotes that cost $5. the way the game is heading, I don't see it lasting much longer if they continue this route. I love destiny. I had huge dreams about this game early on. TTK when it came out was fun.. but after 5 months of TTK and content being held back still.. It really pisses me off as a fan of the game.

I've been a year one player and loved the pve content they released. Pvp was good and all but I do ok in pvp but it's just not the destiny experience. The real destiny experience is finishing that first kings fall raid or vog or crota raid after so long. That's what keeps you coming back for more. So little content for pve has been released that I'm not surprised that 60% of players like pvp, because they already drove away all of the pve players. Bungie said there was going to be a heroic kings fall raid in febuary and I'm still waiting for that. Pvp has had a lot added to it but there is all of this awesome pve content that is sitting around which is absolutely useless basically. The only reason people run vog is for the no time to explain and the amount of time to simpily make the older stuff relevant would bring back many loyal players to the game. All you have to do is change a loot table and the level of enemies.i was loyal to testing since the first week and I see year two players getting the game and have no idea of what destiny had to offer before year two. Those of you who think destiny is about pvp and that pve sucks, that's because you are probably good at pvp and not as much with pve. Pve is probably more challenging than pvp and requires a full group of 6 people to cooperate together in sync while pvp is mainly a group of 3 or a team you can carry. I will say pvp is challenging simpily because you fight players but pve is all about working together. All of the year one stuff that everyone spent collecting became absolutely worthless in year 2 and getting one of the 3 ps exclusives, a shader, emblem, and a sparrow no faster than the others was a disappointment. Pve and pvp both have equal grounds and to a player they are both hard, but destiny was supposed to be sided on the pve aspect more than the pvp and year one proved the point well. Year 2 so far has been nothing but pvp and a raid that is challenging only because of its many flaws. Getting a piece of gear from a raid was one thing in year one and upgrading it fully was another, but getting a piece of gear now is not just chance in the item, but the defense of it as well. The farming aspect has gone to an extent of not just collecting the item, but collecting a specific type of it. The farming from raid has gone from players making mistakes to the game making mistakes and waiting of a good run not only from the players, but both the players and the game. The "festivals" are absolute bs and have no point whatsoever so take them out and develop some actual content. The fact that you even want us to pay for an emote is ridiculous. Even though the emotes are cool, well a select few, they are just a little spice in the game. But you have added way to much seasoning to this game and you need a new side dish. Making a raid is one thing, but to just add to that raid and have little challenges until you can think of an idea is another. I mean you had the common "easy" mode and hard mode but heroic? Is that all you can think of? How about being the already tested and fun raid back. That's gonna be way more effective then adding a legendary mode in the future. Better yet, add the heroic mode to the old raid to add some spice to the side dish and give us a little challenge we weren't expecting. It's not even hard, probably easier than balancing the pvp guns forever.

Oh don't let me forget to tell you absolutely nothing new about the mechanics of the singles awareness day PVP event. nothing new to PVE but maybe someday soon eventually we might hint at something -insert random interview with PVP dev about useless irrelevant info- -insert random videos no one watches- deej out! i would love for once to happily be proven wrong.

There's just nothing new in pve, and serious players already have all the gear they could get from pve. Pvp has more replayability because your human opponents behave differently, where there are only so many variations they can put into pve. If you want a big pve update, you'll probably have to wait until Destiny 2, hate to break it to you.
