Apparently you never saw when it could headshot across the map. My heart broke when the range was reduced to a sliver. They nerfed the ever living sh*t out of its range. It has been nerfed a long time ago, they won't do it again, I can promise you that. May as well just get used to it. It's nothing like it used to be. It was basically addressed when %90 of the people using it, didn't use it in its intended manner. After the patch, the ones that used it as intended and a few that has adjusted to the hip fire method, came to get used to it, aside the hurt range. Just like the fact MIDA never left. The only change that had occurred was now it can be relevant in PvE. Aside the fact that it could've always been used in Crucible (impact, not levels), patrol, strikes & daily missions (even the daily can use year 1 guns effectively still). So the only thing it couldn't do well in was the raid and the high level strikes and IB/Trials. I never stopped using MIDA, and no, they never nerfed it in the past & they won't now either.
