Petition for etheric light to upgrade rare gear to legendary
Idea came to me while replying to another post about favorite text description that bungie replied to. If etheric light was used to bring rare gear up to legendary with a random perk roll bungie could bring a year one endgame activity back into relevance. Some of the best designed gear in this game never gets used simply because of the static light level or lack of perks. It's not a huge fix but it would bring content back from the dead. Personally I'd add matchmaking to all poe levels and maybe even some bounties from variks. Could a live team handle these changes? Not sure, but I personally would love an incentive to play all y1 content again.

1 ReplyBump!!!! Or if they don't want to bring etheric light and Poe back, then create a new consumable that would upgrade the rarity of TTK Blues. Some armour sets and guns look and feel so awesome and a lot of them are visually better than many legendaries. It's really a shame that you can't use them for more than a week when you get actual endgame gear. Seems like a lot of waisted effort. There's so many blue armour sets, that it would bring in an era of individuality and customization that would be greater than in the house of wolves expansion.
