do you realize how phucking stupid it is to create an entire post about tlw, only to end the post by talking about the real problem? do you realize you completely contradicted yourself? there is no more game breaking gun in the game than thorn. same bullshit as year one. go into a true sweaty lobby. you MIGHT see one tlw out of 6 players. i stress might. tlw is the most niche weapon in the game. tlw is literally as niche almost as a year one shotgun. their ranges, if you take into account sliding, blinking, or the time it takes a shotgunner to close in on you with a yr one shotgun, tlw shares the same range. if you are trying to outgun a last word user up close with an auto rifle. you deserve to lose the gunfight. auto rifles should have the slowest ttk of any class in the game. they are noob weapons. watch any kid who just got the game. the level 7 with a grim score of a hundred. what does he use? an autorife 100 pct of the time. it is the staple gun for the fps since the dawn of time. some games call them smg's, but they're all just auto rifles. they have huge mags, no recoil on the good ones, and no need to reacquire targets and time shots. they are for noobs. pulse rifles are the next easiest to use. they need to kill slightly faster than an auto, but still slower than a scout, and way slower than a hand cannon. scouts take skill to use, but if you make scouts too strong, you have no idea how that would negatively affect the game. there would be absolutely no map movement. the game would be even more campy than it already is. thorn is an issue. tlw is fine. three body shots from across the map is not ok. it never will be ok.
