Everyone said SRL was dumb...
...but all I see in Patrol and Strikes are S-Class Sparrows. So someone has to have been lying.

I really enjoyed the SRL. The rewards were worth the grind, and I had some really amazing 3oC results too.

I got a 320 class item and a 320 helmet and 2 319 helmets and 2 318 helmets, basically multiple of every helmet from 310 to 319. So yea SRL was good. People that didnt do it lost out. I leveled up every exotic helmet on all three character classes to near max and one to max.

3 RepliesSRL was total crap but I still completed the quest line as it wasn't exactly difficult and got a better looking sparrow. Soon as I finished the quest Sparrow racing was never touched again.

That's cause this board doesnt represent the majority of destiny players. To most the people on this board: destiny is dead, bungie is stupid, all the weapons are op, and no one enjoys doing anything in destiny. But if you just logged into the game, you'd see that was far from the truth.

SRL was alright, but the 320 loot made up for its shortcomings

I quite enjoyed it but there was definitely a shortage of courses.

The sparrow may be cool, but that doesn't make the event dumb. Take a pvp game mode you don't like (rift, control, mayhem, etc). If that mode you don't like gives 15 marks because it's the daily, I see you using marks, does that mean you actually like that game mode? No, of course not. You can think an event or mode is dumb yet still like what comes from it.

OP here! Can't edit the post for some reason, but we've been trending for almost 24 hours and have 500+ replies! Glad to see so many people did actually enjoy SRL, if even just for the top tier Infusion fuel. For the record, this was mostly a jab at all the people complaining non-stop about Bungie being total shit and never putting out anything fun or enjoyable or worth playing. You guys basically proved my point by exploding out of the woodwork to defend the event and its merits to you as a player. I thoroughly enjoyed SRL and I worked damn hard to get my beloved Voidstreak, and I can't wait for the next event!

Yet I raced the stupid sparrow because for me it was the only way I was going to get a 320 helmet as the broken ass raid was not dropping it. I hated even minute of it, as it was as broken like everything else Bunglevision throw together in a desperate attempt to keep players.

SRL is dope free content. It's a choice weather or not you wanna play it or not. Ppl who complain about free content are weirdos. Maybe they should go pre order the division and wait patiently until it comes out. Destiny doesn't need you complainers hogging up their sub par severs.
