Everyone said SRL was dumb...
...but all I see in Patrol and Strikes are S-Class Sparrows. So someone has to have been lying.

Traditional fps elements, openworld exploration, rpg elements, mmo elements, this truly an eclectic collection of genres. Those who said SRL shouldn't have happened because destiny is an fps are blithely ignorant to the complete experience that is destiny. It was lovingly crafted FREE content and should be enjoyed. The races were highly competitive and the tracks were beautiful and interesting. I do have some criticism though. Only two tracks made for a very boring experience after some time. The core experience was great, don't get me wrong, but there wasn't too much there to keep us occupied. I felt the mechanic of losing max speed whenever you missed a boost was too punishing and discouraged players from exploring other methods of going through the course. And finally while very fun sparrow mechanics felt a little flighty and hard to control at times. It seemed not as tightly designed as the games gunplay. Other than these three thing I enjoyed SRL immensely.

1 ReplyI enjoyed srl myself. I actually wouldn't mind it turned into a one week bit like iron banner. Just once a month, I feel would keep it feeling fresh enough to play it each month

I liked it. It needs some tweaking and more maps but I found it rather fun.

It was the only gametype on Destiny's PvP system where I got a message saying "GG! :)".

I want SRL back, really enjoyed it and want the chances for 320 class items again.

Umm they hand those out for nightfall rewards and those stupid emotes.... Srl was fun for 10 mins

Sorry but it was ok for the first 5 runs, thn it just got painful. Not even worth winning. Just let your dog race for you n you'd get rewards.

I enjoyed srl, and obtained 2 x 320 helms and 2 x 320 class items.

Hopefully they introduce a sparrow that also has cannons to blast enemies away? Why limit ourselves to interceptors and spikes? :D Pretty please Bungie? Sparrow Racing meets Death Race? It would also be an awesome addition to the PVE side :D
