Translation: you suck at rift.
Guess what, Iron Banner could be any game type. The only difference between Iron Banner and regular crucible is the rewards and stats being enabled. Get out of your comfort zone for a week and try something different. Hopefully they keep mixing it up. Bring on inferno next!

Ewwwwww IB needs to be either clash or control, not shitty ass games like rift or salvage (because i know bungie will -blam!- it up and add salvaga on the next IB)

Rift and salvage aren't crap, you're just awful at it. Take some time to practice them, then only then, you'll get any improvement. : ] I play all modes, and I've done very good in them, it's a great challenge. IB is suppose to be a challenge; Rift was a good one because there are numerous ways to get the spark, and to ignite the rift. Is it bungie's fault you and a load of other guys can't grasp that? No, it is not. It is your own fault for trying to place blame on something else, other than yourself. You're not up for IB if you can't handle it when there's something new in it. Every single person, I've met who complained about it, all were extremely awful at it.

Firstly: How do you know that these complainers are awful at it? Just based on K/D? I brought 3 characters to Rank 5 in just 1 1/2 days and I thought that Rift was a very bad choice. There is some strategy but there is a lot of luck too. Here are some of my issues: 1) I played many matches where one team controlled the spark area and nobody could get it from the other team. That was simply because they got their first. 2) There were not enough maps. It was the same ones over and over again. 3) Once a team got 2 captures the matches were over. You're not coming back from that. 4) Too many times you get placed in a match where your team is getting destroyed. 5) I came across a lot of lag cheats.

oh yeah, lets fore Fireteam making into IB because Rift without a -blam!-ing fireteam is hell on earth, bunch of stupid randoms that cant defend for shit the one with the spark basically is always a 1vs 6

That happens with every mode. I've had no problems with my randoms. Maybe communicate better with them. : |
