I stopped when you referred to iron banner control as shining star of the pvp community.

Trials of Osiris is their most competitive, but as it does not appeal to the entire community, it is not it's shining star as much as the tryhards or bungie want it to be.

Control is absolute crap and always has been. Most people play the story and go on patrol, is that the strongest part of Destiny PVE??

Point your frustration in the right direction, Iron Banner does now suck (especially rewards) and it's thanks to Bungie. First and foremost, they suck.

So really just trials, elimination and skirmish. Although elimination/trials rewards revives too much. God, they didn't do a great job in pvp at all I guess.
