No good machine guns in Y2
[b]Why doesn't Banshee offer machine guns?[/b] It is impossible to get a machine gun with a good roll in Y2. You have to get extremely lucky with drops, and that isn't the case with any other weapon type.
Why the discrimination, Bungie? Until you fix this people will continue to use their BTRDs. Give us an alternative, please.
Edit: okay guys I guess I have to clarify this. There are no good machine guns which you can get with desirable perks. You have to rely on RNG. No other weapon type require you to rely on RNG. Why should machine guns be any different?
Edit 2: Quillims Terminus sucks. It comes with a predetermined roll where only the last slot changes. And the best perk you can roll in the last slot is persistence (which is a horrible perk for slow Rof machine guns) Cocoon is a bad PVP perk and it fills the slot where Counterbalance should be. The sights look cool - that's all it had going for it. It is the worst machine gun available currently.

1 ReplyHow is Terminus bad? It gives more ammo than any other gun, has a great mag size, and cocoon is useful if you use it right. Instead of being vulnerable while reloading, i switch to my primary until I reload and pull it back out. Plus it has a good sight and feels smoother than the other MGs

I got the New monarcy one with very good roll. But the Thunderlord is exact the same with stats, but give you alot more ammo in pvp. So, use Thunderlord

My barons works ok for my Titan

I have a barons ambition with mediocre rolls, I'll equip on my warlock, and a pretty good ruin wake on my hunter.

Qullims a beast in pvp you can get a solid number of kills, switch to primary or secondary carry on killing for Abit then back to quillims with a full clip.

1 ReplyHow is cocoon a bad perk? Ever heard of sustained DPS? You can proc the perk in almost the same amount of time it takes to reload.

Ruin wake, barons ambition, quillims terminus, the new monarchy one, the trials one, and the FWC one. The terminus hits hard and cocoon is actually a great perk for a machine gun, the trials one is amazing, and barons ambition and the FWC MGs are great with a good roll.

1 ReplyAre you high? Quillums terninus is awesome which is why it's used so much. And cocoon? It is excellent in pvp if you know what to do, like gets those quick kills, swap weapons until more enemies come, swap back with full clip. Better than reloading and getting smashed, because uouve got your primary or special out while the cocoon does the reloading for you.
