People Should Be Punished for Bailing On Iron Banner Matches

Title says it all. It's not overly difficult to go into IB Rift solo, what is difficult is people quitting as soon as the opposing team scores once. Hell, 3 people dropped out in one of my last matches when all the enemy team did was pick up the spark! The medallion buff you get when you lose a match, clearly isn't enough to keep people in the game, so something else needs to be put in place. Other than the frequent team dropouts, I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I'm enjoying rift as an IB game mode. I do feel like the level advantages aren't as strict this time around though. I'm going up against 300+ light guardians whilst I'm only 260 and I'm holding my own pretty well. *Lots of good suggestions/potential solutions coming in. Hopefully it'll get noticed and thought about by someone at Bungie.*

 • Yes. Some sort of punishment for leaving or incentive to stay needs to be implemented. Thursday night, the other team got the Rift in about two minutes. 3 bail. They get the Rift a second time, two more bail.. Great. I was 1 v 6 for at least a couple minutes. I ain't quitting though. I got a couple kills while waiting for new people to drop in. It was ugly. How the mercy rule didn't go into effect is beyond me.
