This isn't a post that needs a long explanation, but just a few quotes from the bible that prove that extremely rich people can't truly be described as Christian.
Matthew 6:24:“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
Luke 18:25: "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
Luke 12:33: "Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys."
These are the three quotes from the New Testament that ultimately prove that truly devout Christians can't be rich. If you're a religious rich person, then you'd better be giving a lot away to charity, or you're by the laws of your holy book, a hypocrite.

Sure they can be Christian. Literally anyone can be Christian. Nobody follows the Bible or the teachings of Christ 100%. The only person who did was Jesus himself.
