It sounds interesting, but I'm not sure about just taking another Exotic's perk and adding it to yours.

Well, bungie could make a new set of perks that can only be applied to custom weapons.

Maybe, if we just change your idea a small bit, you could just use the perk as a base? For example, you could change the Zhalo's perk to where it'd be Void, and maybe have an effect when someone's hit by the chain Void.

I refer you to the elemental damage paragraph(s). There should not be elemental damage on primary weapons at all imo.
