I'm sorry but Iron Banner Rift is straight up garbage.
Whomever decided this was a fantastic idea, deserves a kick to the nuts and an immediate pink slip. The lag is incredible and a snipe fest. Granted, yes, I suck at sniping, but geez.....it's overkill here. For the love of God, don't ever do rift IB again.

So we play the ENTIRE match with 5 players and lose in the last 60 sec. Why in hell didnt this broken piece of crap game fill that spot? (rhetorical)

It's amazing how people don't play the -blam!-ing objective. like, not at all.

Agreed, too much focus on one point. I mean rift is fun and all but not for competitive play. It inspires no movement around the map, thus making most of the layout pointless unless for the 50% success rate of a rush behind the enemy (usually done alone unless you have a fireteam buddy)

6 RepliesTo be honest I dont think the game mode is making everyone salty. What Bungie is doing to matchmaking is just not working. Yesterday before the (patch) I was running some solo matches. I won some and lost some but everyone in every lobby I was in had green bars. I even wrote a.post asking if it was fixed I was amazed at hiw the games went. At 9pm Est I went in with 6 clan mates and it was awful. Its the stuff you see that blows my mind. For instance, people dropping dead without reason. Or another one I was seeing in a match was a titan with the EB helm way up in the air one shoting guys on the ground with a conspiracy T-D. Thats alot of distance as the guy had to be running increased height because he was up there. Guys eating rockets to the face,guy taking 3 shotgun blast and a melee but still turning around and killing you. Anyway Im wondering if rift would still be this hated if the thing happen in the game the way they were meant to. Im hoping at somepoint this gets fixed because 6v6 is really bad right now. 3V3 and trials seem to have less red bar then standard 6v6 mode. Also its not just pvp pve is still glitching out. How many guys had 16 bombs go off and not have any damage register? I love this game and have defended it but man everyday its getting alittle harder to do. Games are supposed to be fun. With all the raging and stuff it doesnt seem like many players are still having fun. I would hate to see this game die out as I feel it really really has potential to be great. 6 RepliesI just went 36-12 and lost on frontier. All my kills were by the spark. No spawn camping. The last 4 people on my team had a .5, .45,.43, and. 12 kds.

I loose more times than not because getting yhe rift or protecting the runner sucks.the runner always runs in front of the team to get to die first lol u gotta let us sacrifice ourselves for u sir so u can dunk that guy

What are you playing on? I have 0 lag and am having a great time (solo). I would have all my bounties finished if I played Tuesday and I work full time so that's not putting much time in. I found one sniper so far and dispatched him several times. He was fun. Please tell me what you are playing on so I can steer clear of it.

Connections-wise, this IB is very good for me. Few red bars, and if there is one, it doesn't really impact the game at all.

I've actually had a pretty positive experience so far. A few really bad games mixed in but also a lot of competitive ones.

It really is.. Rift is more objective based than Control and you people prefer Clash over Control. Personally it should either be Control and Clash and alternate every month the playlist between the two. I said last week when I read the update that I'd be opting out a second time, BUT BUNGO heard us and brought CBMM and I had to try it. Went up against a full fireteam and left after the second game. Not going back. Stick with Control and Clash, no other playlist.
