The game has been ruined by SBMM. I did a little survey- the last 10 games I played, 8 had a minimum of 3 red bars each. I like in the uk with decent internet so it is not me. True of both 6v6 and 3v3 although 6v6 seems to be the worst. There were two games I would say we're unplayable - players disappearing while you are shooting them, head shots not registering, all the problems that are well documented. It's simple SBMM whatever the upside is not worth the lag not even close. One other very important point that not many are picking up on is that now you are really better off going solo into crucible. As SBMM uses the stats of the best person in the fire team to match make then it means that unless you are all equalish skill (unlikely) then the good guy has to carry the others (and put themselves at a disadvantage if trying to win) and the poor worse players (like me) get wrecked, so you are better off alone. Bungie don't worry about saving face, make this right. A step backwards is what is required as we are on the precipice right now...
