I mean besides very plainly worsening the experience of players, it's near unanimously hated. I've seen at least a dozen polls in the forums about SBMM, and the lowest the removal of SBMM was favored was 87%. Further more the vast majority of youtubers and streamers have spoken openly about the negative effects of SBMM. So why hasn't it been removed?
Comment your opinion.

1 ReplyNO GUIZE THEY AREN"T FINISHED COLLECTING THEIR DATAZ TO MAKE THE GAME BETTER FOR US!!!
-
Because Bungie believes the community is wrong, and that we need to just accept whatever they push at us.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Barrier: 1/24/2016 5:22:20 PMBungie has always been very adamant about making us play how they want us to play. Also, we'll have to wait until next week for an update on the issue because SBMM apparently affects Bungies response time too.
-
1 ReplyThey are clearly not giving the 1% pvp or pve players any priority at all. Understandable but very frustrating atm. There's so much they could easily do to better the experience for the 1% pvp and pve players but simply aren't doing. 😢
-
1 ReplyBecause they don't give a shit.
-
1 ReplyThey are incompetent and don't care
-
1 ReplyIf Tryarch can turn off skill based matchmaking within 24 hours, so can bungie. But there to lazy to do it.
-
7 RepliesHow about people stop whining and complaining if they don't know how it works (so almost everyone, including me).
-
6 RepliesMy clan and I have recently decides to stop playing pvp in general... As of yesterday in fact. It's to frustrating due to the lag/latency that comes with "playing" against another player of a "similar skill lvl" (whatever that means) across the world when I can't do any damage to them
-
1 ReplyThey either don't care or think it's benefiting PvP players. Newsflash: Everyone hates it.
-
2 RepliesIn my opinion bungie doesn't care. Even with all the outrage we've created they are gonna leave it as is. There was a mention in the weekly update about they have a fix for the latency issues we are all experiencing right now. Hopefully its dedicated servers or removal of sbmm all together. The other issue I have with it is I always start matches 4v4 or join a match the had just started 4v4
-
4 RepliesBungie has been working on implementing it for a while. I feel that they wouldn't just throw it away with the amount of time they worked on it.
-
7 RepliesOr they're sifting through all the data, and making a decision based off numbers, which don't lie and bitch, and that will determine whether or not SBMM gets turned off.
-
1 ReplyThere can only be one reason. I've been here for a long time... Seen the same thing. They don't care about what we want.
-
3 RepliesBecause the people who don't like it are a minority but they just speak loudly. Bungie is appealing towards their biggest audience (people who don't read forums and watch streamers...etc). Personally I think most people who complain are ill informed about it and just fill in the gaps with their imagination.
-
2 RepliesBungie doesnt care. Look at how theyve lied to us. No one can say its activision now either because Treyarch turned SBMM off in days after an outrage by the community
-
1 ReplyI've been here for a long time... There can only be one explanation, seen it time and time again. They don't care what we want.
