Shouldn't I have the blueprint? This is for discussion purposes I know it doesn't work that way, clearly, or I'd have Super Good Advice and Hard Light in my inventory.
Anyone else think it should work this way?

Cool little tidbit of information but I was only missing two exotics from last year and they were both special weapons. I bought two special weapon engrams from xur and both of the guns I was missing popped up .. Pocket infinity and dregs promise. This leads me to believe they give you the guns you don't have. I've only ever bought two so someone correct me if they have had a different outcome.

You got blueprints based on what exotics you had when update 2.0 dropped. If you didn't have it on your character or in your vault then you didn't get the blueprint. It didn't use grimoire to determine what you had.
-
If you dismantled them before September 15th, 2015, then no. You don't get the blueprint. You only got the blueprint for exotic weapons you had when TTK first launched.
-
You get the Grimoire for obtaining them, but dismantling them before TTK means they're not in your blueprints. I have the same with NLB.

Nope. Simply because you can use codes for grimoire. I'm pretty sure red death and gjallarhorn both have codes you can redeem for their cards. Basically you'd be using (albeit public) codes to unlock a weapon... But I do think if you've previously found a weapon you should have it in your blueprints (eg if you had y1 sga but deleted it prior to kiosks, you should still get the blueprint)

I agree. I had damn near every exotic in Year 1 and deleted everything in prep for Year 2. Then... Boom! They announce Blueprints and I'm -blam!-ed.
