If you still have questions and would like support, community members of this thread will be glad to offer assistance. To the best of their ability, they can help you figure out why you were banned, and for how long. Just post your question along with a link to your Gamertag and they'll get started whenever they read it. When they've found your answer, they will send you a private message with a link.
I will usually get back to you in this thread with a speedy response. If your question isn't answered within 12-24 hours, bug me with a private message!

Gamertag: sam aaaaaaaaaxe Got an in game message saying I was temporarily banned from earning credits. Not a clue what I did wrong! Edit: After skimming some of the posts, I assume I got flagged for idling. I should probably tell my girlfriend to stop playing Reach with me and my 2 other friends, then. This is kind of obscene. Since I've figured out why I was banned, could someone kindly point me in the direction of a game or playlist that doesn't have a stick up it's -Blam-? I get the principle of it, but when I'm in a party of 4 and one person isn't any good, why should we be penalized for it? Especially when we win, or keep games close? I guess this is me just getting pigeonholed in the "casual" gamer group simply because I enjoy playing with others, regardless of skill level. Thanks a bunch, you super awesome people you. Keep up the super stellar work by alienating those who are trying to learn your game or have fun. I'm just tickled that you feel the need to penalize those players who choose to jump into matchmaking with a party of 4, and not go all-out in a 4v4 game. Last time I checked, no one ever really hated to win against a bad team, so that's really cool that you want to go ahead and penalize the bad team. I honestly wasn't this worked up about it until I started generating the reply, when the utter stupidity of the entire situation fully landed on my shoulders. Frankly, I couldn't care less about the credits, so kudos to you on that, but the intent behind the ban is what really irks me. Here's a suggestion: give a credit ban to anyone who loses more than 5 games in a row. Clearly, they're just griefing and trying to make their team lose. And anyone who has a negative K/D ratio in 10 games in a row? They get a credit ban. It'll be really fun to just stick it to the noobs. Trust me. [Edited on 05.15.2011 8:20 AM PDT]
