Twilight Garrison is impossible to get
Why is the twilight garrison seemingly impossible to get?
Over the past two days I've used 190 strange coins to purchase 10 chest engrams for Xur. And not a single garrison has dropped for me!
"We fixed the loot system making it more likely you get a drop you don't already have"
My ass.
Bungie I love this game, but this I ridiculous.
Edit: Just bought 5 more engrams after farming 95 strange coins from scratch. All crests of alpha Lupi. That's it I give up. Never gonna get it.
Edit: For the people that are asking how I farmed those coins. Primarily through Prison of Elders lvl. 28. Usually gives me 4-6 coins for each run.

Agreed. I have every exotic chest on all characters except twilight garrison. I bought 3 engrams and got voidfang, alchemists and Lupi. Again.

Once you get it, every other engram you get will be a garrison. Gets annoying. I kept two.

Actually it seems like there is an increased chance to get it. Lots of players reported getting it on there first or second attempt, including myself.

Got it on my second attempt from xurs chest engram. Haven't played this game in about 3 months but I had a bunch of coins and wanted to try my luck lol

I did every nightfall x3 since week 3. Raided regularly. Hell even loot caved a bit. Never had ghorn or hawkmoon drop y1, its the demon rng man, it just happens. I have friends who have never had mytho drop still to this day.

Really I have 3. 1 solar, 1 arc and void perks on each.

The "smart" loot system only applies to legacy engram's, and ships and shaders from faction packages. It's a common misconception that the "smart" loot system applies to anything else.

To increase your chances of getting stuff for a titan use a Warlock or a Hunter to decrypt items. I used my Hunter Friday and decrypted 4 , 3 voidfang vestments for Warlock and armementarium for titan.

I'm probably one of the most unluckiest people alive but you seem to have beaten me. I got two TGs from Xûr's chest engrams. And then two Crests. Sorry, bud, but maybe it'll drop for you?
