People that call their characters "toons"
Makes me cringe every time.
Edit: people assuming (incorrectly) that I'm young make themselves look foolish. I've always thought calling characters/avatars "toons" was cringy. Even ten years ago when my buddy played WoW. So I'm just going to go ahead and assume that every person that says that I must be young or that calls their characters toons must be a basement dwelling neckbeard. See how assumptions work?

Ive always used it because when I first started playing WoW years and years ago. This is what all they were referred to as; toons, or alts.

Same here. (I personally didn't start hearing/reading people refer to their characters as toons until I was 16, but even then I thought it was weird)

I'll use it just because it's easier to type. I've never actually said it though. The one that bugs the shit out of me is people calling a sniper rifle a "sniper". My nephew said it years ago and I thought he was retarded. Turns out it's a "thing".

I would like input though from anyone who has experience and can help with guidance. Here is what I can say about myself: •4.2 gpa •Varsity lacrosse and football all 4 years and lettered all of them •coaches basically guaranteed I would be captain for both sports next year •200 volunteer hours in local hospital emergency room •various clubs. Such as: key club (volunteer service), junior class council (treasurer for it), student government, fellowship of christian athletes, best buddies, and will be given a leadership role for academic team. • I am apart of the civil air patrol ( Air Force auxiliary) • National Honors society • 3X Relay for Life • My father graduated from the Air Force Academy and spent 20 years in it •9 ap courses, 6 honors, and biomed class which is the class the school is most proud of •Will attend boys state this summer My only downfall are my SATs. My total sat is a 1600. I don't know if I can get that any higher or not. I will be taking the new redesigned one and will also take the ACTs in April. In advice is well appreciated. Thanks Edit: Sorry to whoever thinks I am lying. I came to the forums because I've read how hard the academies were and I knew a lot of our military played this game so I was just looking for anyone who's had experience. Sorry if I've offended anyone.

2 RepliesToon started in the 80's with a game called "Toon" with regards to a players "avatar". Sick of people bringing up WoW ever time it's mentioned. It didn't start there, not even close, not even the same decade.
