It's actually useful if you're trying to have fun and warrior people all over the map. The extra duration is quite noticeable. If you're bad with shoulder charge timing these are great for you.

Remove the mk. 44 and peregrine grieves and make a new exotic. Shoulder charger exotic boots - grants the shoulder charge perk, increases its duration, and increases its damage in the air.

Not really, but they don't have any draw to them as is. As Datto would say, they're a Do-A-Thing exotic that doesn't outright increase power. If you don't like Striker, you wouldn't use them. If you don't use Shoulder Charge, you wouldn't use them. It's all personal preference. I happen to like them because I get overzealous with my shoulder charge distance and need the extra animation time.

Just combine them with Peregrine Greaves and we got a far better exotic.
