Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

Just infuse it into the armour with the best perks, trying to get a discipline strength build for night stalker now with relevant loaders

All my raid gear goes into my far superior FWC gear. One of my buddies gasped in horror as my Harrowed Silence of A'ran disappeared into The Vortex. Ahh that sweet sound from a focused charge of energy packets dissolving enemies....

3 RepliesI disagree that IB gear is best looking. I've been rocking all Raid gear so long and I'm sick of it too, but I'll keep it around since it has perks that benefit me while raiding. I've been slowly buying up faction gear that I like and think looks best while keeping the best perks possible. It's been a fun process and I have nothing else left to do in this game really. By the end of it, I'll have full 320 raid gear and a second set of 320 gear.

I keep a set of raid gear for when I raid due to perks...for the raid lol. Otherwise I use anything high level for my mix up of trials/IB gear or exotics

Although I agree that it's quite hideous. I find the mortal medicine perk quite useful.

Because. 1. I don't have enough time to do iron banner. 2. I quite like raid gear 3. I haven't been able to do any iron banner in the last two months because I've been away and only get enough time on destiny to do the raids. 4. I'm a PvP scrub. Run at me

Personally, I hate the IB armor and the Trials armor. I prefer Raid and Faction gear over both.

Thank you! Atleast someone understands! Get armor with the perks/look you like then infuse it. If your going to kill aliens and other guardians, might as well look good while doing it.

they need to add a cosmetic set of armor so that you can look good and have good stats but bungie is too proud of the abominable armor they've made

I keep the highest set for the raid as it has additional raid perks. The rest infuse into my strike specific gear usually.

The people at Bungie that design this gear need their heads seeing to, particularly whoever is responsible for titan armour in general needs to go because it's effing awful.

Some people actually like the raid armor, for hunters helmet and chest piece are cool. Also PS exclusives are nice sets but you can't get them above 290 to drop.

2 RepliesThe warlock raid chest piece makes me puke everytime I look at it. I 320 the Fwc one because that's the only chest piece that looks like a vanilla destiny one.

1 ReplyIf you care about how your doll looks, go play barbies. The raid gear is superior to anything else because it has perks that benefit you while raiding. Who cares what it looks like. Well, I guess you do, because you're awkward. But I'll have fun being a better raider than pretty much everyone I raid with.

If I raid, I use my raid gear! If I play pvp, I use my pvp gear (IB, ToO and others) Easy as that.

This is a game with role playing elements so its pretty normal that your character looks decent, and yes infuse it! Its ugly IMO. Thats what I did myself
