The infamous SCARAB HEART emblem -- REQUIREMENTS?!?!?
To whom it may concern,
There is so much confusion out there about this emblem. Destinypedia says "playing after 9 wins"...vague enough. Too bad most websites just do not dig deep enough about many things concerning the world of destiny. Thus, I am trying to find out the rules for me and whoever else cares. I am asking those who know for a fact (i.e. moderators or bungie employees...if they are allowed to help) or those who experienced the random drop:
1. Do you have to play with your flawless card??? or can you get a new one right after you go flawless?
2. Do the boon wins count for the first 9 wins required?
3. VIQ. CAN YOU GET THE EMBLEM FROM THE CHEST OR THE GOLD TIER? should you wait until you have 10 true wins?
Anyways, I mostly want to hear from anybody who experienced the drop and the history behind it, with a flawless card or without. I know some get it right at 10 wins like almost automatically (with or without boons? idk) and some CANNOT get it even after 20 or more sweaty wins. I have seen fake videos about the emblem and so many people contradicting each other.

Got mine last night 1) On the 9th win 2) With all boons applied 3) With one loss, mercy Hope this helps. P.S. On a personal note, was my 1st time, y1 player with all circles complete in the aoe book now and was totally helped and carried by 2 sherpas. I love this community. Thx

Boons active but won every game. Dropped on last game when the card was fulfilled

When I got it we had the boons active but did not use the mercy. We went flawless lost two matches then on the 10th win it dropped. I was 4-2. I didn't do some insane task to clutch or anything. We also did not stop playing trials to go to the lighthouse we just kept playing.

It RNG now after you went flawless. Having loss while you had 9-0 still count as drop. Again it RNG.

Rng after 9 wins on a card. I am annoyed because I've gone 17and0, 15and0 twice, and still not gotten it.

5 RepliesYo can have losses, don't need to go flawless either just meke sure you are victorious on trials (meaning you finish the passage with wins and not losses) and then keep playing, it can drop as a reward after a game.

Get it after flawless as rng drop. Got mine on 10th win no loss. Buddy got his on 14th win with 2 losses.

Not me but a friend. Was with him the entire card. He didnt go flawless, but had nine wins. He was played for like 7 of my games for my flawless on another character and he got it when i went flawless. Tl:dr Got 9 wins, didnt flawless. Got it on like 7 games after he finished his card

Ive seen shaders drop on regular card matches... in my case... scarab heart though.. had to run flawless card 4-5 matches more till it dropped.... your alowed to lose.... but I guess needs to be that card in particular... if you lose 3 times its over

No. As long as you have 9 wins on a card, every win after will have a chance at dropping the emblem. I know this because I was helping my friend go flawless last week and we were at 8-0 with no mercy and lost. After that he said he just wanted to keep going for fun so we did. We won the next match and were 9-1. He still wanted to play so we did and on that next match he got scarab. I know for a fact now that as long as you have a 9 win card (doesn't matter about losses on the card) every match after has a chance to drop the emblem.

Ive been with about eight people who have gotten it and it is always go flawless on card and keep playing. Losses after that point are fine. Ive seen it anywhere from 10th to 25th win.
