What's your Elo Rating?
Elo as in Arpad Elo physics professor & creator of the system.
The system was originally meant for situations involving 1 player vs 1 player. Due to this not being the intended method of study, the more players involved vs another group of players, the less accurate it becomes for judging the skill of an individual.
So for instance it's better to use it for 3v3 than 6v6 because there are less variables.
I usually don't pay much attention to Elo outside of trials, but there's a score for every game mode & different divisions as well.
"All players start at a baseline of 1200 points. You will take points from your opponent's Elo score by defeating them, and vise versa. Defeating a more skilled opponent will yield higher points than if you beat up on a weaker one. The higher the score, the more skilled the player. It is extremely difficult to maintain a high Elo score, these players are regarded as the best of the best!"-Guardian.gg
All the information on the website is incredibly detailed & even more so accurate, allowing you to look at recent games & see the elo of each player involved as well as the results for that game in detail.

9 RepliesELO is a joke. ELO is easily farmable. Go into 6v6 with a team and pubstomp. You'll skyrocket your ELO. I was ranked 100 ELO in Clash, and I solo Crucible 70% of the time. It's sad. ELO only goes by your overall K/D in the gametype, and how often you win. None of that proves you're good against competitive/good players. If you really brag about how high your ELO is, you need to stop and realize how meaningless it actually is. Winning and K/D is not important. Playing against good players and surpassing them is what's important. ELO is a flat out joke. Not trying to diss the website devs, they did a great job. It's just pathetic if you say ELO is important.

3 RepliesMines terrible at just over 1000 but I do not feel it is an accurate portrayal as I mainly play solo and in 6 v 6 game modes for fun. I know players with a much higher ELO than mine that are terrible.
