Why didn't they bring Thorn to yr 2?
Thorn was my personal favourite weapon of year 1,I just don't get why they couldn't of slightly nerfed it then brought it to yr 2

Make thorns dot only affect minions of the darkness and im all for y2 thorn but 3 tap to the body??? Really???

9 RepliesBest way to fix it make it have no burn in the crucible and it will work as a normal handcannon 3 shots to the head (sadly it will be 4 body shots but if your aim is that bad try another gun) increase its stability because it's recoil is crazy when you try and fire it fast. Side note remove ammo regeneration in the cruicible for the invective (ice breaker only has 6 shots and slow regeneration time) invective can pick up normal ammo and regenerate ammo which makes inferno no fun at all. :)

A way to balance it might be to say make the DoT affect headshots only and make it tick for 3 but you could reset it. So say +1 headshot = 3 ticks If you get another headshot and the enemy is at 1 tick left it bounces back to 3 but cannot go any higher. Or you could make it like LitC perk. Say 2 random bullets do DoT

Because they haven't figured out a way to introduce the Thorn again without having it reign as the only useable primary in crucible again

Idk, maybe closer back to its original stats before they over buffed it and destroyed the crucible in Year 1

Apparently the balance team doesn't think Thorn is in the right spot yet; that might have something to do with it.
